Thank you very much for nice words. Well, I agree that I might be a little more than average interested in modelboats, and my teammate as well, so we are having a lot of good times doing this hobby
However, FE are quit new to me, so this is a whole new experience.
FE is easy comparing to what you do. Simply match ESC-Bats-Motor-Prop. I guess that you only have big boats therefore you are quite limited to Schulze or CC 240HV, 10s-12s,and big motors Lehner 3080-NEU2230-Pletenberg. I might forget some but actually your choices are not so wide, only that these 4 (ESC-Bats-Motor-Prop) must match.
Yup, that`s where I need experience. I belive in search for the highest possible speed and reliabilety you actually have to cook and frie some equipment...
I also do smaller boats, such as the Delta Force 650 mm, 750 mm, 800 mm, 840 mm, 900 mm, 1000 mm, 1050 mm, 1070 mm, 1200 mm and 1265 mm.
The 900 mm are the smallest boat used with nitro, geared 3,5 cc.
My biggest boat at the moment is the DF 900mm used to be 3.5cc geared now electric.
Would really appreciate if you can post a photo of the transom. Are the trim tabs and turn fins really necessary? Is there a way to avoid them? I've heard also to slightly bend the tips (inward) of the trim tabs downwards, is there any reason for that?
Pics of DF 900 mm, DF 1050 mm and DF 1200 mm.
My experience are that tabs and fins are absolutely necesary when doing racing.
It is pretty hard sometimes to stay alive for 8 and 12 minutes with a lot of maniacs around you. Ripping off the tabs means that you have to do changes to your bottom, and that causes the bow go down pretty hard when you throttle off and the boat tends to go right or left on its own purpose... And the fins are needed to get a tight turn without spinning out. For saw I believe you can go without fins and tabs.
Actually is only a few boxes, I`m about to finish 10 monos for the upcoming season There will be European championship in Hungary this summer, and next summer the world champs will be held at the same venue. I simply have to prepare for the WC! I`m going to Hungary this summer racing 7 classes.

If you mean the motor in the V-130 on videoclip it is nothing else but a Hornet Zenoah from Al Chianelli with a little bit high timing, and exhaust system CM100 from a Norwegian guy. Al says there is 5,9 hp in the Hornet engine. The prop is a propshop 6717.
I believe the cost is about 575,-
