      EPV went bankrupt.
Some of the molds were sold to : http://powerboat-manufaktur.de/pro.html
The Joker 135 is the EPV 135 I believe.
But the EPV 160 like the one in this topic is VERY rare !!
During a German SAW, a few years ago, the EPV 135 did 177 km/h .................
If only i did not already buy my CT-03, I would kill someone to own that EPV :-)

Nope, he doesn't hold the N2 record, boats like that are to small for him.
              Achim : did 184 km/h with a 115 cm HPR06 , invalid run ( single-run, lost a trimm/drive on second run)

The bulb in the tunnel are made to let the 35 cc`s have enoguh space.
The boxes under the hull are cnc made radioboxes. See pic`s. The plywood box are a prototype. My teammate are pretty good with cnc, so we have the opportunety to make some nice parts for our boats.

Yes, I`ve been thinking of the drive from 2brothers. But a Zenoah or a QD doesn`t make the look very much scaletrue. The drive should have nosecone with waterinlet like it is for real, it should have a nice Mercury hood. Guess I have to make a plug and mold one by my self.

Here is a pic inside the EPV hull. On each side of the bulb there is molded in stringers of aluminum to reinforce the enginemount.
I`ll see if I can find some pics of the EPV raceready.
(btw, the EPV molds are in Sweden, as far as I know they are still in good shape)

As far as I know they are still available, I know the guys who have them very well. I may find out if you are interested.
Bellow are some pics of the EPV`s.
EPV`s did not became very popular in Europe as they are not very good for ovalcourse racing, they are fast on the strakes, but you have to throttle down a lot in the curves.

I already have a large cat ( MHZ CT-03), but I love the idea that EPVhulls are still made.
I especially love your version with the kevlar and sandwich.

My EPV is the only hull they made in carbon/cevlar, (I`m talking about hulls made by the Swedish guys) I ordered a rock solid hull and this is what I got. There is also another canopy which is a little higher to make place for the 35 cc`s. I have both of them.

Do you know how many layers of carbon kevlar are laid? Is there any fiber glass cloth in there above-below the kevlar? The top part is super strong (I know this material and used it)
                              Very nice cat

I`m not sure, but I believe the bottom is made of 4 layers carbon/cevlar vacumbagged. There is no fiberglass cloth.
