Thank you...Thank you...no applause required....Bone stock, 1800kv motor, 8 dollar Graupner K48 prop and 30 C Turnigy batteries beats out 25 (ish) other boats.

No need to spend big money to win..If you are a skilled , professional RC Driver like myself ()....in other words, LUCKY with a decently fast boat it can be done.

On the topic at hand, Promarine's cats look very nice and I hope they will provide more options..just lose the arrogant sales pitch. Its been tried by other manufacturers before and failed miserably.

Bring it to the Cup. We'll see how she stacks up. I hope to get my mitts on one before then though.

Oh and bring an extra canopy. We'll need a shelter for John's enormous head.

I didn't think you were asking for a free boat Terry. The ambiguity of my statement was intentional, but I for sure was not implying that YOU were trying to score a free boat. However, some people see this as an opportunity to come with their hands out and try to score a free boat in exchange for "helping" by spreading the word. I have a distaste for this sort of thing, because in my opinion, it's a lie... or at least a gross misrepresentation. Saying you want something from someone for free is self-serving. Pretending that you're asking so you can "help" someone is complete BS. If your goal is really to help/support someone, you will buy their product. If your goal is to try to get yourself free stuff, you'll do just that.

That's not to say that there is no place for sponsorship. Sponsorship has it's place in racing. If these boats win races, word will spread. If they can't win races, word will spread. I can see where companies would want to pursue getting the best drivers to run their boats via whatever methods they find reasonable. However, I think when it comes to new products, people don't give much credence to sponsored reviews anyway. Hearing what the people who spent their hard-earned money have to say is much more valuable.

Tony, The Emperor's New Clothes story is awesome. We see that so much on forums. How many people have we seen rave about products they've never even actually used, or conversely, speak poorly of something they have no personal experience with?

Certainly the driver is the biggest component of a winning combo. You must at least be fairly good at it!

I'll bite since I see you keep going out of your way to get me to anyway. First of all you have no idea what your talking about. I talked to mike several times and we had discussed him sending me a boat. Not for free either. He wanted my impressions on it and I was going to post my impressions here. I told him I'd buy it if I liked it, which I probably would have anyway. You know, helping him out like I did when you started selling your 34" mono, and I got nothing from you for free nor did I expect it. You say that putting the boat in an outside party's hands won't help....well I sure did have a hand in helping you sell some of those 34" mono hulls didn't I? Deny that if you like, I'd expect that from you. Same reason you tried to get me to buy your 39" mystic (free help for you, you don't mind taking that do you, well I have a distaste for that) and help get the word out on it too, which I declined for reasons you know why. Let me say this, I enjoy helping people as much as I can, but is it wrong to expect a little something in return for my help in a situation like this? I've tested things (including boats) for companies before and when I did I usually got a free whatever it is I was testing in return. Being mike isn't a big time company, I didn't expect the same in return from him. I expect a bunch of smartass comments (what your good at) from you, but I'll disappoint you this time and not entertain it. My retort is over, have fun with it and ruining this thread some more.

I m here to sell boats that performs great. Well built and strong. Price is higher than other because she will need little or zero upgrades for playing or racing, won't blow apart or separate if you flip her. Two deck styles and real props come with them. She runs flat and no porpoising . Videos on her running in traffic and hard racing this past summer are on our site. All I ask is give her a shot. She really is awesome.
                          Merry Christmas .
Cassie Kerns and Dominic Stancombe will be running my boats in PLimited cat and Offshore this year locally . I don't think it would be fair for me to continue to race and supply boats. It might show favoritism toward my family. I'll be there to support my team and people who purchase my boats. I'll try to get better at driving my p outboard and will be heading back to the ocean for offshore racing in 2016. It's a Skater Nation
Thanks again for the support .
VBOTTOMS are coming too. TwistedMetal V .
I will race IMPBA and NAMBA around the country too. Come by and run one of our boats at an event or one of our offshore races.

Thanks for all the "help", bud. If only I can get you to buy one of those 39" mystics (I'm assuming you mean the world record-holding HPR 99) , I'll have the wind in my sails.

The reason for these forums is that we all have a common interest and share info. I get tons of emails asking for help and never sell a part or anything...glad to do it. It all comes around. Just like playing with real boats and RC boats...something I enjoy.

I do back Billy Oxidean because he is a very serious driver and runs my bearing struts and wire drives....does he pay for parts...yep. Do I care if I get a mention in his write ups...nope... Does he buy more...yep!! Is he a EDIT yes...is he full of himself... yes, but, I give that to him because when he gets on the course he is a hard driver...and generally wins...in his black helmet and red cape as well! Does he get lots of free boats to test...well, I think he does...LOL but he is just a better salesman than the rest of us.

Keith comes all the way to Missouri for a little shootout just to be a part of it...well and he took the win but whos counting...LOL...oh Lance is!! Anytime you can go hang at a place called Pappa Chubby's in the back of a cove for three days you are in it for the fun and friendships.

Mike will do well with the new boats, no doubt about it. Will they all need to be out front in races to sell...nope.
