      Kevin,
Best time ever at Flint, MI all stand up guy's there for the same reason SAW. I met Keith for the first time learned a lot about Cat's and I don't even have one YET. LOL Really it is like the best kept secret SHHHHH you can spend hours running at your home pond like I have, but learning from these people is Great. I had to write down all the tips I learned. I stepped up my RC Hobby program by leaps and bounds. I hope to meet new guys in the fall and keep my new friends I have made. I cannot say enough and only 350 miles from Chicago, IL. My partner Art Jayne did most of the driving.

Thanks Mike, unfortunately, it's about 900+ miles for me, so 14 hrs. of driving.......that doesn't mean I'm not considering it though.

Thanks Doug, I am about 17 miles SW of Boston, looks like Portesville is about 600-633 miles from me, still well over 9 hrs.
Looks like that event already happened a few weeks ago too.

You could always ship your stuff to me and fly out for the flint event. I have chargers, generator, etc. that you could use.

Thanks Keith, the gears are turning.......Even if I can't get it to a point where I may have a shot at the record, I'm still considering it. I've just gotten my feet wet so far, but I'm enjoying this type of challenge.

Are the Revo packs legal for a SAW event as long as they're only charged within the limit?

This is what makes model boating the greatest hobby on the planet.

Find someone to travel with from out your way. A couple of us traveled 26 hours in a weekend to race in Atlanta. Totally worth it. There's something intoxicating about hanging out with 20 or more like minded model boating super freaks. SAW guys are about as super freak as it gets too.

I have a hard enough time finding someone to run with me here lol. I've basically only run with one other person, twice....

I sure do love offshore electrics. Intlwaters is full of unhelpful peeps. Hoping I can get my fighter cat into 100+ this summer. I have a tobsd with dual 3674 3600kv on 6s that has been in the mid 90s but took a wicked wreck last summer. Lol
