I haved try mine yesteday with no succes.. stock sv 27 motor ( approx 1550 kv) with 3 s battery. the boat never lifted.

Excuse me I been on vacation here in Seville was Semana Santa, is a very popular holiday and not work in two weeks nothing and we the party of La Feria de Abril.
This is why in these days I have not tried anything nor have I recorded video.
Try to record a video with green plastic prop 37mm, I assure you exceed 100km / h.
I do not intend to deceive anyone and try to do the video with gps, but give me time.

siberianhusky, With 4S lipo battery is good for competition if it does not exceed 100km / h, all the boats of 4s exceed 100km / h here in Spain.
This is very normal.
Some boat has exceeded 150km / h but not the autonomy of 5 minutes, the running time

I would use 4s or 5s on that motor

Looks like a Leopard 4068, 2500KV motor.

I think my 4068, 6pole 2560Kv motor will do jmust fine.

if you read you will know which engine I use
540L = 3660
Probe it, Please.
if you want to run for 5 minutes you must to used 37-37,5mm prop, 2 blades, 1,4 pitch.
if you want speed you must to used 39-40mm prop, 1,4 pitch or V936 octura

A 3660 / 2500kv motor on 4s should give the following speeds
37mm prop =53mph or 85kph
40mm prop = 58mph or 93kph
v936 prop = 70mph or 112kph.

I do not use the octura x1.4, it has a lot of acceleration, much consumption but little speed.

I also use Etti props as well, Can you give the set up you use on your + 140kph boat , I assume 3660 2700kv on 4s & what make of prop & diameter + pitch did you use for + 140kph. Thanks.
