It liked the CF45 a lot more than that m445, I think its a speed issue the m445 pushed it further than it liked. Serious prop walk and blow over issues I didn't have with the other prop.

Interesting, I had a similar experience with my ekos. The boats attitude was perfect with cf-40 props, but when I put a set of 442's on it porpoised like mad and wanted to blow over @ 50. With the cf-40's it ran straight and true all the way up to 58. Amazing what a difference a prop change can make!

Yup, makes a HUGE difference. You can spend a crazy amount of money on motor/esc and without the right prop your screwed. I'm still learning a whole lot about props.

anyone here happy with the rudder servo position for the genesis? im thinking about moving it from the center of the hull outwards so the link to the rudder isnt so bent.

ran mine the other day for the first time, went pretty well.

motor just powered down when packs were at half capacity so i need to work that out, ran for 3 mins then power down, second run after a couple of minutes full power was surging.

checked all the running gear and nothing got hot, could easily touch all of the components motor, esc, packs.

Glad to hear yours was good man, mine still had high temps and put 5.5 pullets on my battery wires and this time they were worm and only one battery was worm and the other was ok,,huuummm but the voltages were about the same on both packs,,???

Well guys, I did it. My custom Genesis is in the Swap Shop, I just don't have the time for it and need to fund other projects.

Sorry to hear your going to sell yours Diesel even more sorry i dont have the money to buy it ,, well i did check my strut hight and angle and yes it was not even. It was down to much and was pushing the hull up off the table just alittle so i adjusted the strut up some got the hull flat on the table and made the angle 0 degrees, will try it out again tomorrow morrning...
