Well, the maiden run is done.

I am not going to tell you guys how it went!

      Watch it here yourself

Just a teaser , longer one will be up soon.

It was ok for a maiden run. cog 28% from transom (~200mm)

not even warm electrics, next time(in 3 hours) I will try the x637.

Very nice!! Looks like you got things pretty close the first time out...and the electrics are not even getting hot!! The x440 seems to work well with your setup...

Looks pretty darn good. I guess the SV27 motor is working well on this hull. Good job.

I just watched it again. I wonder how much more speed you'll get with it fine tuned?

                      Thanks guys!

And yes, bigger prop is needed.

after 6! minute run the motor was 50 degrees celcius ,and esc/batts cold to touch!!! . I guess that p220 is not too much. Will see tomorrow.

Nice build & Videos there FastVee.
The SV package can definitely handle more prop than that.
A 642 & 445 are good. I've even run a 645 in a 25" hull with no problems. Don't know about that in a 29" hull. Maybe an M645. Someone who has tried it should be able to advise on that.
                              Well done.

                                Glad it ran well fastv.
Its good seeing someones first real build turn out well.
just be carefull not to try too large a prop.
