So is the x440 2-blade safe to use? -or should I go even smaller? X437/3 or /x438/2 ?

Your problem is the ESC. It is not up to snuff on that hull and motor

Well, how big esc does it need? 70,120A?

-how did this happen...b4 I ordered this hull it was like "stock sv parts will work " and now it is "get everything and more"I mean cmon guys, I cant afford that much(120 hydra 180 and 70A basic thingy 80$), I just wanted a better hull then SV that would work with sv parts.

If you are planning on buying a new ESC anyway, try the SV parts with the stock prop. See how it runs.

Buy a seking esc from ebay. A 120 amp watercooled and waterproof esc is very inexpensive and just as reliable as a cc esc. BUT.... you can run the stock SV setup, just start with small props as mentioned.

I would PM Darin Jordan on this board. He is very helpful and familiar with the SV setups and may be able to give you some good advice. The man knows his FE stuff.

Those parts will work but not with the props you suggested. It will run fine on less aggresive props, but you may be disappointed with the performance.

Douggie made a good suggestion. Run it and check the temps after 1 minute. If ok, then you can experiment with other setups. The first, would be the strut height and angle.

                            Well, I ordered the x440 and x637

So I´ll start with x440 and go from there.

And Tom, please report back when you have tested that esc

Keep us posted. I would like to see how this works for you. The SV27 motor is a strong little motor.
