Hi Rawson, Glad to hear you got your frames and are ready for a build. Just some advice, make
sure you make this boat as strong as you can with braces in the frame. make sure before you
start sheeting to use a lot of fiberglass resin. Also once you have sheeted also use Fiberglass
resin to seal her. You will have an excellent boat. I am super happy with mine which is UL-1
powered. It rides super, handles excellent and hits 45.8 MPH on GPS. That is all I wanted.
Please let me know if you need any help. Regards
                  Norman

Good luck with the build, Rawson!

Here is a couple of update pics on my build. After a LOT of resin, filler and a LOT of sanding and several layers of spray-on primer and several layers of white final coat, this is where she is at. It is not perfect, but the blemishes will be covered by some decals (). The blue of the King of Shaves colour scheme is next (if I can find the right shade of blue that is) and then a few clear coats to finish it of. I am still waiting for my SV27 cockpit to use on the deck-lid (ala Norman) and then that needs to be finished. I already have the KoS decals (a bit big but not too much).

Once the hull build is finished (hopefully soon) the cat will rest, 'till I have enough money to spend on the electrics...

Hi Lomodel, She is looking fine. Mine also had some blemishes which I covered with graphics.
It will look good when you clear coat it. Regards

Here are the 3/16" struts. Two bearings in the strut. Nose built to your size...wire, cable or whatever. The nice thing is they fit pretty much any hydro or cat. They also come with brackets.

I love bearings in struts and for wire drives they are excellent.

Nose removed and bearing comes out to replace...simple but effective. This one has not had a polishing.
