Why does it stink? We live in the information age with a 'net full of converters. Blame the Standards Authority for not converting imperial to metric accross the globe yet. I distribute these plans to you guys freely with a lot of modification done to it already. All you need to do before cutting is converting...

There is a lot of pics of my hull build in this thread. If Norman2's finished hull isn't enough motivation, then nothing will motivate you...

I was referring to what happened to your hull stinking.

I'll have to take everything off there and sheet it with a few layers of fibreglass probably. Another week down the drain... I know I promised pics soon but I'll take some when the damage has been fixed. Oh the joys of parenthood!
Hi Lomodel, Sorry about your mishap but at least you know that your daughter
              will love FE boats. Regards

My repair job on the broken nose section didn't quite turn out as well as I hoped, but plan B is in motion... Meanwhile, here is a update pic of my sanding job until now. Still a lot of work to be done to get it smooth enough (wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just buy a freaking hull and install stuff into it and go).

Easier, yes, cheaper, maybe not. But, if you buy everything, where is the fun? I tend to enjoy more the build than the sail...
You hull is FAR BETTER sanded than mine was... but a decent paint job and a thick clear can correct anything
And, as Norman was saying, heavy filling sandable primer is the way to go!!!

Lomodel, You are almost finished. Try heavy filling sandable primer at this stage and you will
see the imperfections and may not need as much sanding as you think. It looks very nice to me.
I thought about buying a chinese knock off hull. but this cat is much better looking. I look at mine do not believe I really built it. Regards
