I gotta get my hands on a bag of these or something similar, nothing I hate more than dangling wires...that for the tip guys!Comment

I'm not sure. I'm gonna try to incorporate a mount that will fit it. Then I'll weigh it and maybe see if it actually will float (lol ) and Ill make some runs with it. I might as well, I may be surprised to find that it sticks to the water better with it. When I want to go roundy round I'll drop weight out of it and go down to 4cells. So yea I guess I'll try it.
I haven't been in the shop the past few days. The wife said my shop is on vacation till after Christmas lol. It's killing me but I better listen to keep the peace. We all know how women can be. Travis,
Happy holidays to you and yours. Where did you get those little wire clamps. I really like them. I can even use them at work.
Regards,

Wassup fellas! Been a little busy with the holidays and been super busy at work so I've been worn out in the evenings so not much progress. I did have to put things on hold anyway because I didn't like my rudder setup. Made a call to Harry over at speedmaster and he got me fixed up quickly. The problem was the rudder I chose, the bracket was just too big and heavy. It took up too much room on the transom also. I knew I could adapt a smaller one because I did that on my (steves) shocker. It works great and looks great on it so that's what I'm going with. Here's some pics and explanation
Look how big it is.
Problem is look at the pin. It's much larger on the big setup. Luckily I had the perfect size brass tube to shim I in the horn.

I apologize. I really have been wanting to progress on this but I've had some snafus in life along the way. Wife insisted that I finish the last room that I had to do flooring in. I got started over the weekend and should finish this week. To top it off, last Thursday I started having nosebleeds. I had then a few weeks ago on the other side of my nose. The cauterized it and it didn't come back on that side. I went Monday to a specialist and he cauterized the other side. So far it's holding up but the blood I was swallowing made me sick all week and very tired, so no shop for me. I normally stay up till midnight, I've been going to bed around 9 all week. I feel like I'm getting back to normal now so I'll be in the shop in the next few days. I'm excited too, I miss it! I love being in my shop and tinkering with stuff.32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) wasComment

Hope you feel better. Doesn't sound fun. Love the build so far. The carbon over the ESC is a nice touch. I'm also a fan of the wire clamps! Regarding the hole in the gelcoat, step drills do a beautiful job of it! They also make continuous step drills, even better.Comment
