I'll admit. I'm not pro painter but I decided to paint this thing the color I've always wanted the other one. I could not bring myself to take the other one apart to paint it because I was afraid id mess with the out of this world tuning that boat had. So yes, I sold it to build another one and paint it my favorite color, pearl lime green. You can't find this color in any affordable way except water base. It's a pita to work with because it will run easily if you mix just a tad too much water. The good part is if you mess up you can wipe it off with a wet rag when it's still wet. Which I did have to do because I forgot you have to do light layers and I got excited and put it on mega thick because I wanted to see what it looked like. Lesson learned lol. Here's after two light coats.

And btw, I'll shoot limco high solids clear coat on it after it dries for a few days. I painted a couple things with this and it turned out nice. Here's the paint

A good bold color Travis. I like a highly visible boat. I am dying to paint something I my old outrigger colors. Neon! Pink blue yellow and green.

I can't wait till it's finished. I'm letting it dry for the night. I think I may need to put one or two more light costs. Then I'll clear it this weekend. Let the clear cure for a few days then finish it up. I'm gonna have my wife cut some decals out for it. Not sure what just yet. I have some black carbon fiber vinyl. I'm open to ideas.

Well by now shouldn't you have some sort of "T Boats Racing" logo or something?

Put three coats of clear on it. Looks beautiful! I love this color. Wait till its on the water and in the sun. It really pops. I did end up with a small run on the bottom. I can block sand it out though. Straight out the gun it looks great. When I wet sand and buff it I imagine it's going to look killer.
