I used Quick Steel on my T29 and my current Team Believer build . It's the way to go for me !! Cures fast and sticks like epoxy. image.jpg

its possible the Kintec stuff shows up tomorrow. tracking says it left the shrewsbury sort facility today at 4. 30 min drive from me....
ose orders are usually fast as well, considering its 30 minutes away the other direction.
i have to stop into the store someday..

Quick Steel would have been perfect for that !

              More stuff today
I forgot to get the tail ring and the cf mounting plates came with No tabs?
How am I gonna mount them,,, "scratches head"
I put in another order with kintec for some more stuff including that pesky ring.
I went with 2075 servo. It's pretty quick and powerful. I've always liked them.

              Here's my stuffing tube

If you need those little tabs for the battery trays I have plenty. I hardly use them.

Looks like a forward in the hull mount from the length of brass. You won't find a stronger way than with quick steel to secure that stuffing tube . I used it in conjunction with JB. I experimented with my T29 build with the putty and it's just a easy cheap way but stupid strong. If you are into looks you can do a better job than me and sand it smooth. I just try to form it smooth and don't care about the detail so much, that's why I just brush JB over it and around the edges where it's stuck to the hull. Super strong and distributes forces better because it's stuck to more square inches of hull.

Well I could go up front or in back.
If I mount a motor in the rear, and have a short stuffing tube, is it more prone to leaking?

From my experience with df mono hulls, is they seem to not like much weight in the back. Not sure on this hull tho

I find the opposite with the weight, the cog's i run in my monos are like 28-30%. The motor placement is not that big and issue really but with forward mounted you dont have such an angle on your tube. Weight can be adjusted easily with the batts, especially with the 2p you will run. You are gonna have the batts on the sides right?

Same here. On my DF35 my motor is in the middle and balances out at 30%. Im building it so I can move my 2p setup forward or backwards to adjust between COG between 26-38%. (More room to move weight forward)

The bend is not not bad at all and lots of room to move batteries around. The batteries all the way to the rear is 27%.
