Doing water tests with the hatch off made it hard to find because it was almost like it was oozing up thru the inlay lol. So I put my hatch bolts in, taped her up and left one of my shafts out. I had a little cup with some soapy water and my syringe, I blew into the open shaft (god that sounds bad lol!) but it pressurizes the hull, then used the soapy water around all my hardware to find the leak, kind of like looking for a rim leak on a tire. I see you are using two piece shafts so maybe you could take one of your water outlets off to pressurize it(plug the other end), Hope that helps.
This is a excellent way to find a leak, I gotta remember this one!

I just ran my Titan after sealing putting sealant on the hardware. Not a drop now . During my previous testing runs it consistently had less than a ounce of water. Not a drop in 2 runs !

Just ran in the pond by my house and the lvc setting fixed the esc problem. i did 54.1 mph on the gps with 447 props. temps were 105 motors , 110 batteries, 115 esc's and the caps on esc's were 145 . is that hot for the caps and what should they be? still got alot of water in my boat just like before about 1/4 cup or so. when you guys do hardware do you cover the entire piece of hardware with silicon and then just wipe excess clean after installation? or do you fill the holes and screws only and then install hardware?

I'm pretty sure your batts aren't throwing enough amps, that makes the caps work too hard.

I just use plumbers putty. Much cleaner and comes off in the future.
Honestly, there's never really been the need tho.

do you put the putty on the outside of the hull or inside, on the hardware or screws?

I would just put a little where the screws went in.

I put a light coat of Honda bond on all mounting surfaces and on the screws. Then after I tighten I wipe the excess off

Honda bond is some killer stuff, that's what I use on 4 wheeler and motorcycle cases don't need any gaskets.

I am a honda bond 4 user ! Get it right lol great stuff . It is a little over kill for our applications but it will work the best, just used some on my T29. I like LAaC plumber putty idea, much easier to clean up the surface should you have to pull hardware .

I have the same boat and also have the scale rudder with the push pull set up. I find that water is coming in the boat between the turn cables and the sleeves. I now put some heat shrink around the area where the cable protrudes out of the sleeve, plus I now fill the sleeves with corrosion x before each run and now it doesn't leak much at all
