Thanks man! I just got through making and installing the battery trays. I upgrade the wire on my esc from 12ga to 10ga also. Nice feature on the mamba monster 2, it has solder posts that allow you to easily change the angle of the wires or change the wires. I chose to upgrade and lengthen them a little because it's getting a castle cap pack also. Hopefully it gets here by the weekend. I may be running it as early as this Sunday if things keep moving along like they are.

      Update :

Added epoxy to the transom along with a cf plate epoxied in place where the rudder bracket bolts through. Had to also Blick sand where the rudder mounts because it wasn't flat and I didn't like the little gap it had.

I put two part foam in the hull. I did the two sponsons first then the center. Left room for my cap bank.

I ran the foam Seal around the hatch opening. I had to cut the rails narrower down the sides because 3s packs would not go. At all.

Made the servo mount. Epoxy is setting right now to hold it in place.

I'm debating if I'm putting foam in the hatch. With bolts, if the hatch comes off.... I've got bigger problems. So I'm not sure if its worth it. The rest of my parts should be here tomorrow. Looks like Maiden voyage will be this Sunday if it doesn't rain.

I got a good bit done tonight. Installed everything and wired everything up. Installed antenna holder, bulkhead cooling fitting. Finished the steering linkage. My cap bank came in today so I soldered it on the esc. I bench tested it, works perfectly. I think im going to run it on 4s first. I'm waiting on epoxy to dry on the hatch... I added a layer of cf. It's pretty much finished except holes drilled for hatch bolts.

My props came in. Man I couldn't even fit a 38mm prop on it be a use it was hitting the rudder bracket. My solution? Milling machine....

How about some standoff type pieces to offset the rudder? That's some super drag in the thrust cone...
