painting goes on....last time we have stopped at applying primer coat. In the mean time...two layers of pearl white mettalic paint were applyed, dried and sanded again...everything was prepared for JBS decals.
As I do not like JBS original design with lots of blue areas at the back of the boat and I wanted to show as much as I can the beauuuuuutifuuuuul white pearl paint, I have modified the original decal set ...a bit. I wanted basically white boat....with some stickers applyed...not too much

After decals were set...the boat is prepared for two layers of clear coating

            DoM972,
I am on a winter holydays in Florida, far away from home. When I come back home, I still have to do some fittings and...towards the end of January, the boat will be ready. Then, I will report the final weight...with and without batteries.
So, come back a bit later and I'll let you know :)
            Thanks for the interest

ok, but the weight of the hull alone?
you have not measured the weight when you received the hull?
if not for the weight rtr not worry I'll wait
              Happy holidays

I had one made with carbon fiber on top of the carbon/kevlar (for the black look and strength) was 7.54kg if that helps?

                    Hello
I just wanted to see the difference with you nata2run

the difference between 1 and 5 carbon layer Kevlar / carbon Supplemental
Because I set up a project and I want to have a bareboat 8kg in weight 8.5 kg max

Hi guys. It has been a long time. But I wasn't sleeping. The boat is veeeery close to be finished...everything is there...everything is epoxied in...only to put few more things together and to improve the rudder system a bit.
I am also waiting for a receiver waterproof box and that's it.
Thing will be ready.for a maiden drive soon.
Ah...one more thing...I have measured the weight of all the batteries together...12s2p.per motor...and it's 6kg all together. Each batt is 750g :)
I am using modelleExxpert 2x6s 5100 mAh in parallel with the same 2x6s 5100mAh 45/90C
                      Here:

I will post new photos and video soon :)

                        Yamadori,

Be sure to update the firmware on your MGM controllers before you head out. I would test on the bench with a 4S or 6S pack to check both sides spin the same direction and the acceleration rates seem normal.

And be sure to take lots of pictures before you run her.

                          Tyler,

Bench testing done...without flex shafts...only motor spinning
                          Throttle...transmiter-ESC response calibrated...
                          MGM firmware for 40063 updated

I will put pictures soon :)

                          Thanks for all sugestions :)

One question please, I read everybody advices outward spinning props...can you explain me why is outward rotation better than inward?

                          Thnx

Outward spinning? My 185 with similar setup as you has inward. So do my 135's and 114. Maybe check into that.

Yes, my boats were mostly inward spinning props...but, as I said...I am reading that outward spin is better so I thought...maybe someone can explain me that issue :)
I am not sure I can see the diference in performance ...I've tryed both

No issue either way as in such. I have tried both ways on all my cat hulls and found: If spinning outward the hull will handle better in corners and in general up to about 70mph. MHZ 138 (now belongs to Steve) pulled 165amps at 80mph. Same setup with inward spinning pulled 142amps and had no handling issues past 70mph. I believe Steve now runs inward spinning in excess of 100mph with good stability? Maybe Steve can comment? All my cats spin inward, but there are cats out there that will not run right that way, so it is definetely hull dependent. Steve's MHZ 185 run inward also. If not mistaken she's quite stable?
