How brave are you? I first found out how fast my boat was going via a gps speedo app on my dumb ass smart phone. It was free and pretty accurate. I simply put my phone in a freezer ziplock bag, I think it was quart size. Then strapped it inside to boat to get a max speed. Just an idea to see where your are speed wise.
On the video from today, what prop were you running? And are you still running 4s? I jumped from 41.5mph on 4s to 47.5 on 5s with the same setup.

    Keep up the good work.
    Which app was it Stel?

Nice job you've done with it.
Last summer i setup a pursuit for 4s with tenshock czii 2250/5 2560kv.
Cog@32% stinger 0 degrees tabs the left flat- 1mm down the right and prop m445 sb.
      I hit 61.6mph.

Sorry I didn't post the name. It's the Ulysse Speedometer. As I said before it's free, what didn't mention is that it's an Android app.

So tried a speed app on the phone in the boat. It told me 41mph. What do you think?
          This is x448 prop

That's what I said before, around 40 mph mark. Looks good except the bounching, did you move your batts. up a little to see if that helps?

I think you need a bigger pond now.
Looks to be running a little better and a lot nicer vid to.

I tried for kicks and giggles the new x455/3 on mine,
And with no changes to the setup and on 5s I only gained 4 mph with it and all was cool.
But I still like the x447/3 the best so far.

That was packs up a tad. I think I could've raised that prop up a bit more as I did a 360 skip across my own wake just before this vid.

That must have been fun to do,
It does look like it's getting a little squirrely at the top end.

Yup,should probably tweak a trim tab. Just a touch I think.

I was waiting for you to say that,
That is what I did with mine when it was riding a little to loose for my liking.

Just a min, a 455/3?? Are you kidding me? Did you carve up the rudder? Geez, I tried the 448/2 and tossed the back around to the front and back again. Should have got that for the record.
How cold is the water there Len?

                          Yes, No.
So you read that about this prop I used, http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...Props-for-sale
No problem with prop hitting rudder because ending blades of prop are even with back of rudder blade.
Not sure how cold the water was that day I tested this x455/3,
But it was a few weeks ago and a little windy at 20mph and temp outside was low 40f.
I will need to test it again in warmer waters soon I hope.

I'm no expert obviously, but I have to say the second pass was where you got your 41 mph reading from. I'd try to move your batts. a little bit forward. I found the sweet spot 1.5 to 2. inches forward from where they were originally places and I really like how smooth she cuts through the water. Give it a try and see how you like it, if not, reset them back and tune the trim tabs

This info is just my 2 cents worth of experiance.

Well I finally got back out today. Took my sweetie with her scale runabout, the Bling, and the ole Miss Bud hydro. Only vid of the mono that Leigh took for me. And no changes other than batts forward a tad. Still running the 4514 CNC prop.
