I had mine on it's hatch once from a big jet boat wake that it jumped and rolled over,
But it did not land that hard on it.
And the hatch stayed on with just the two very small pieces of tape I used for testing that day.

    As for score.
I will give you a 9.6 because I played the video 9 times in slow speed,
And saw the nice two dives and back flip in to the transom stuffing x two.

Was that running on one or two 4s packs and with the tabs still up ?

Tabs still up Len. Yup 4s2p. I had it going fairly good with that 4514. Smooth and all. Did need a touch of tab. But definitely needs a bit with 447. That was a step up for sure.

        Hey Shawn,
Any idea why it did not float and bob instead of sinking ?
I know you had built that nice bulkhead and stringers,
But I forgot what you used for flotation in the bow.
How bad is the hull beat up after the 9.6 dive ?

The rear corners broke off the hatch where the bolts are. The boat floated, but the styro in the lid broke loose and the hatch went down. I have a plan for it's retrieval.

              Hi,
In this case in post #302 above we are taking about two 4s cell packs in parallel,
That still = 4s but it is two X what ever the Mah is of the pack.
So that gives you more amps for the setup and a longer run time to.

Now this link below has to do with how some cell packs are made and put together,
              As a 1p or 2p pack. http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...6-2s1p-os-2s2p

So I think we had the CG at around 9.5" from the transom, give or take.

So I finally plugged this thing in to power today. Works fine

So next step is to make a temp hatch till I can get the one off the bottom. I could just swim if it ever warms up. Just started snowing here again this morn.

Do you not put foam in your hatch? With your skillz I would think you could do something like I did that looks good and is functional.

Well I did have a chunk of foam in there but it was half done. Kept thinking I should put some cloth over it , but... Didn't happen and in the vid you can see the foam blow off.
