Rescue boat build, springer pusher with underwater fpv and recovery

The angled part is going to be the base of the steps up to the wheelhouse. And the front is going to be a mock access door. It just looked too plain in the front. As the lower structure is just going to be mocked to look like window hatches and a door.

Spent many hours looking through the springer thread on rc groups. I think that is the longest thread ever, 630 some pages! And I did see that pushing grate, I like that idea as your not pushing any water, just the boat.

He was originally my retrieval option until he decided he wanted to play with a boat himself! And then never brought it back!!! Lol!!

My huskies hate water. About the only thing they will "retrieve" is a cat or squirrel!
Springer is looking awesome, love the details you're putting into it.
I have about 5 or 6 strips left to put on my Lobster boat hull then I start on the deck/cabin and details.
Next up will be a springer, the LB will tow a line for retireval, the springer will be a push retrieval boat.
Wish I could find a decent set of tug plans for free. Kits are way expansive and the few free plans I've found are not the best for enlarging.
I'm really enjoying this scale boat building stuff!
Downloaded a really nice set of plans for a PT boat, might have to build one of those down the road sometime.

I think I have a link at home I can get you some inexpensive plans. I got one side of the steps done last night but ran out of wood for the second set. Have to make a trip to craft store. Working with wood is way different than working with aluminum and fg/cf. I am too am really enjoying the work this project has given me. If it were the fantasim I plan I building I would be done already. You should show some pics of the lobster bt. What electronics are you using in the lb? Motor and speedo. I will post a better pic of the finished steps. And yes doggie thinks he is the size of a cat! I have an Irish would hound also and when they take over the couches my wife and I just get the pillows and head for the floor!!!

And for any of us that have a "smart phone". iPhone, I wasn't sure if I would ever use these apps other than maybe hanging a picture. But I have found it to be very useful in some applications.

I'm not sure what this is called but it gives some overhang to the second deck. Milled a slot in the wood for better fit.

It's not final design but I think it is what I'm going with. It is only held together with masking tape so nothing is exact. Just to give a idea of what it will look like. Anybody that sees this, does this look like something real? I have taken some ideas from a bunch of different pics and kinda blended them all together.
