    Sorry I missed this, I do have a thread going for this but perhaps I should do a ne "build thread" as it is a conversion and perhaps someone will have suggestions for some of my changes.

      What collet do you have on there Mason,some of the octura's have a funny size and none of my allen key sets have it. My LHS does have them though and I could grab one for you at my next convenience(no idea when)

        I'm not very sure, it's the drive dog that came with the flex that was given to me for the build. I think he said it came off a genesis

          Do you not have a 1.5mm allen key?

                It should be a 1.5. My FC ones are 2mm.

                    Would be nice to see the boat built srislash :)

                    I just ran my Musculus on 4S! Very fast now! But I think I might be able to squeeze a little more out of it with some trimming and a slightly larger prop :D No heat problems either

                        it's quick! As in, I'm comfortable running the boat on 3S flat stick from the minute it hits the water until the cut off takes over... But on 4S, it's required to slow down on anything more than a slight turn!
                        I've been looking at more prop options, thinking about the 37mm 1.4p I've got, I will need to get something a bit bigger looking at a 40mm 1.4 prop, but I still need to try out the 35mm 1.7 light weight prop I got off HK... I'm spoilt for choices LOL

                          Why does the cutoff go on so early

                            it doesn't in my case, I was just saying it runs flat stick on 3s without feeling maxed out...
                            If you have problems with it, try adjusting your ESC :)

                              Oh I was wondering what you were saying about your cutoff. Never mind hah. But on mine 3s is a lot of power.

                                what was your KV rating again?
                                Mine is a 2500KV, so perhaps the difference is that?

                                3S = 27750rpm
                                4S = 37000rpm

                                I'm upping the prop diameter now!
                                I also think I have a fair bit of slippage, I need to try out a 3 blade prop, with the same diameter and pitch as my current prop... But they are not in stock currently...
