Well it's winter and I'm tearing the boat down and rebuilding her. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1353377539.359977.jpg
At this point I have a support/battery tray mounted in the back to stiffin the transom up.
Also, I removed the motor mount screws to the hull and filled them. I am now going to epoxy the mount in.
This should get less drag on the bottom of the hull from the screws.

Next I will be reshaping the stand on back. I have a spacer but it points down and causes prop mounting problemsImageUploadedByTapatalk1353377722.538174.jpg

I'll also be adding some wood supports where I have existing mounting posts in the hull. Two over the motor to keep it down, and I will be making a bigger platform too.

looking good Mason :) Any hardware changes? Or just re-jigging the current gear for a better performance?

I'm nearly done with mine now :) Just blew my ESC, so I need to either solder up my smaller ESC or get another 120-150 amp ESC... Spewing, coz I was hoping for the maiden voyage today :p

I'm just trying to make it more reliable to I can go faster and not worry about a wreck.

                      Actually working on it now!

Got the stand straight. Lot of cutting and filing!

Got the brass tube in and stuffing tube in getting mounted, found where y major leak was from! The space around the brass tube was pretty big and the silicon wasnt as good as I thought inside stopping water from getting in. But I filled it and it's ready.

I'm going to try to make some more platforms for the inside to stiffen an mount stuff!.

coming up a treat mate :)
Before I put mine back in the water, I've gotta do some leak finding too... I'd like the boat to be near 100% water proof, it sorta sucks having half a cup of water inside the boat after each run... Plus I'm sure it's not good for batteries etc to get wet LOL

                          Well another update.

                          Worked quick today!
                          Ready for running, weather permitted.

                          It's a mess but that's a t180 and a 3s... 3s is more fun.
While the 2s I have fits perfectly along the rear, like I said, 3s is more fun!

Are you going to post up the vid?

Will you be putting all that wiring/ Rx setup into a radio box or something?

What kind of coupler is that there Mason?Do you think you just didn't tighten it enough or...
I have had to make the fingers in them close more. And if it spins on the shaft too many times you will have to do that as it wears the shaft down
