So i mounted the batterys and esc to the battery trays. I will post a picture of the set up before i expoxy it in for some input. I tied up the wires the best i could and it doesnt look half bad.

So i changed out the flex holder? Its the piece that connects the motor shaft to the flex. Hah i put a bigger and stronger one i had on.

I would zip strap the ESC to that inside rail.Do you have any Axial velcro straps. They work awesome for the batteries. The trays should go forward to the front of the motor.Like in the pics of Jason's boat.

Also make sure you sand the hull where you will put epoxy.

Ok but if i move the trays forward the cg is way forward. And i will sand before i expoxy.

The wood running from the motor to the rear is the rail. CG should be at 7" or so from the rear edge of the ride surface.Like in the pic I showed you.

See where the 8" is on the tape. That is where you measure forward from.

Ok sounds good. So i should have the back of the tray starting 4 inches from the back

Also, the ul1 looks like it has already been blueprinted. There is heat shrink around the wires already at the entrance to the can.

So we put the trays in. My gpa only wanted silicone so I can take it out later. But seems to hold strong so far. I will be trying to drill a hole in the rail for a zip tie or I could zip it to the motor. Which one?

The silicone should hold.Did you fix the rudder control rod? And I would go to the Rail with the ESC.

I didnt fix the rudder rod. Its pretty good now. Just doesnt look as good as some. Its straight through the transom. And the esc wont reach to the rail because the wires are too short.
