Just take it easy for a while with it... trust me it takes a little getting used to something that covers that much ground that fast and you want to make sure you have lots of open area.CF Fightercat Daytona, 21 year old Hitec Sea Nymph, Genesis and many more to come im sure.Comment

with that motor and the right prop and a lot of tuning i feel like 50 is possible. On a run i happened to have gps for i got 47 mph using an m445. I would caution against a 45 mm prop and the ul1 motor though, it is a hot set up that could take out the motor in certain conditions ( ask me how i know) 42x55 or a x442 would be a good prop for that motor and you should be well past the 40 mph mark.
Always read the water before you put you boat in, left to right just like a book. You are looking for what way the wind is blowing, and what way the chop is going. You always want to try and run as close to 90 over the rollers rather then going parallel with them. If you do that the boat is more succeptable to chine walking (side to side dance action) and is a good way to flip. The only time i run with the rollers is if they are created by a real boat, and even then im not crossing over, just staying in the smooth low spot of the roller.
It should be fast enough to make your sphincter tighten a little lol. I would also turn down your end points, i only use 65% of my servo throw with my geico. and if you aren't gonna be racing i highly recommend you search for propperchoppers thread on how to blueprint the ul1 motor, should help get some extra reliability out of it. Basically you just add shrink to the wires going into the endbell.Comment
