Oh. Hah cool. So. Im going to try and get a couple things over the weekend, a traxxas series connector, traxxas female connector, and what else do i need?

So whats blueprinting the hull do for performance? And how hard is it to do? I think i will run it stock for a while and once i get use to it i will turn up the boat and fix er up.

Hopefully my friends can get me a ride to the lhs today and i will get some connectors, series connector and a balancer plug adapter. Then once i get all that, ill have my dad drop me off at the test lake and ill lube up the flex and take er out.

So going to put the boat in the tub to see how she sits and if she has any unsuspected leaks i can fix.

So. Found a leak on the first boat. Well.. its leaking from the transom, i need to seal it upp better. Around the stand on the outside and around the reinforcement.

So.. i sharpened the rudder and strut with a file to give it a clean cut through the water. I didnt find any leak or water in the MG. Great thing to find. I tightened everything up and then... I added a piece of steel wire from the strut to the offset rudder piece to do two things, keep it from moving around if any and if something comes loose, i wont loose the piece. So that should do something. I also added about 9 packaging air bags in the hull, 3 in each pontoon tip, one behind the motor and one behind the battery tray. This thing wont sink now at all. Hah so i think this should work. Ill post pics later

So, ive been reading, how have some people been getting 55 in the MG and others in the mid 40s, what causes this, motor, prop, batterys? What? I just dont get it.

Like I said,a bit of everything.I'm pretty sure I'm at 60mph now.Probably 55 on 4s.

How can i get mine to that kind of speed?

Your motor may be able to get close.It'll be all about the little things and the right prop.
