Took her out again this morning, hoping it was going to be a calm lake (my luck) of cause not!
Well still having issues, well not issues but wrong COG. would be good to see what some of you guys out there have done. (stingers/drives angle, battery placement)
She still topped 112.2km/h (just short of 70mph) with the propshop 4518/3's, not fast of the hook though. I wonder if ill ever get alot more speed on 6s, even with corrected COG maybe need to move up to 8s. I'll be happy around the 140km/h mark "safely"

I believe this is the fastest pass in slow motion..

Be nice to see how it rides on the calm water.I still think you can run a bit bigger props.I wish there was something in between the 45mm and 50's.
Oh and here's mine on the 4518/2's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HiXWD...=youtube_gdata Since it is on the clicker.

Zippy little thing you got there shawn! I do think I can spin bigger props. this thing here dont get hot and surely dont move either. I have this urge to see what it will do on 8s. I got the batts coming. x4 4s nano tech 65c~135c 3850mah, will get 8s 3850mah per side, motors dont really spin out and she's not movin' as fast as I want on this setup.

Would be good to hear what other MHZ drivers are doing with this hull? Even HPR drivers could chime in.

What's your timing set at Kent?I have my 1717 at 15 degrees in the DF.And here is how that sounds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjDGl...=youtube_gdata
I don't know if I would go to 8s with the 1717's.But I am planning 7s.They are good to 45,000 RPM.My logger has the DF at 36,000 on 6s.That is with a X646 prop.

                  Doc;My TP's are 1810 kv. FYI

Just wanted to add here that I had adjusted one stinger up 1.5mm and it made the world of difference.I didn't spin it out once.So apparently it doesn't take much to change things alot.

I'm not sure how accurate I can set timing on the sf240 it's set to "middle" I think that may be around 15 degree. I know we did something with the doc some time back. I'm running quite cold with those new props, something tells me it can do a lot more. Ppl are running 2200kv on 6s, that's a lot more RPM

That's the one thing I don't like about the Swordy's. 2200 on 6s with a small motor, there is alot more meat spinning in a 1717.

I don't have a lot of movement on the stingers. Can not go zero and can not adjust positive angle either -1 degree is what it's at the moment. Again, one would assume they both have to be the same.?

I have it figured at 1450kv loaded in my DF,if we can look at it like that.So that will put you just over at 46,400 RPM and who knows if one hits the air.

I don't think mine are out, as in wrongly mounted. The MHZ drives don't allow a zero position, unless modified. This is where I would like some of the high rollers to chime in. Where do we set stinger position and where is COG for speeds over 70mph (on a calm day)
