Shawn, they would work if you can wait for them to bite. They just spin out with this hull, then when gained some speed your ok, but a struggle to watch plus a lot of throttle up and down. Stay with your 4518/2 or get the 3 blade version. If that don't work I shake my head and go back to 447 @ 45k rpm to get some speed. I have a good feeling about my 4518/3 I just put them on and they look really mean a$$.

Im no expert but what could be done to the 1816/3 they hardly have a tongue? Maybe better suited for lighter hulls.
A few ppl on the German forums are getting very good speeds from the propshop 4518/3.

Kent, you said the boat handles as though on ice.I imagine there is too much lift on the rear.Is it like that?

nah... not really like that, it sits ok! but the damn think wouldnt stop. I had to really watch the speed. with other props it would brake alot faster, this one here just kept going. It was a little more jumpy though. I kinda like the 447 props, and think if I could get more RPM would get better speed. lets wait and see what happens with the 4518/3. I really hope they will work.

Oh,well then I know exactly what you mean. That was what was going on with the 4518's on the Shocker. I figured it was just the extra speed got it aired out well enough that there wasn't any boat in the water. When I came back towards myself and then found no steering I was so hoping it would slow down quicker.

How did you find the 4518's?? were they ok, and did you pick up speed quick?

They picked up pretty good. But then my boat weighs in at just shy of 10lbs loaded. They are my favorite props so far.

Ahh good, look forward to trying. If she looks stable I'll get her in the big lake for WOT don't want to flip her there, woul be a pain to get her out. But it's the only way if she proves to be fast, not taking chances in the small lake. Hmmm lake would be calm now. Too bad it's near midnight here

Hey Nata, sorry have been out of town, but yes I have ordered some of my parts, mostly MHZ got the surface drives and rudder, flex shafts and tubes. Pretty much everything but the motors and esc and batteries. Boat arrives today so I will be working from the back forward. I am not sure what motors to use yet or esc, I am kind of leaning towards the castle 200 ICE esc. I will start a thread once I get everything up and going. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
