Prop are looking good though, will work on them next few days and maybe test on weekend. If it holds up should be fast.

Hey Nata, I love what you have done looks great and you have given me alot of ideas. I am building my first rc boat which is at the painters now and Pro Painter posted pics yesterday of her (Clean Getaway) she is a 54" Central RC hobbies mystic sport. I have not had a chance to read your whole build but plan on taking an hour and do so. I hope you don't mind me shooting you a question ever now and then as I am going to be doing pretty much the same thing.

          Thank You Scott

Scott your hull looks amazing, all the best with the build. If you havent yet started a build thread, you should. Would be good to see. Have you picked hardware yet?

Ok took her out today. Not the best run with the 1816/3 and 8kg of boat. Once up, it might have been ok if I went on the big lake., but what a struggle to get there. You have to keep the boat moving and never under 30km/h or it starts all over again, I have so say though once the props bite your on it just happens and off you go. temps were ok, except for the little leaf that got stuck to the intake on the bottom. auch!! sorta tells you cooling is importent. both ESC and motor came back HOT on that side, the other side was cold. Batts were 30c ish. next will be the 4518/3 just wonder if I'm going to have the same problem. Half a lake just to get up in speed!!!! OTHER 1/4 TO BRAKE!!! with those props it feels like you are on ICE.

On my maritimo 36" twin 1512/1800 on 6S, ABC 1616/3 loaded on launch until a back cut relieved low speed load.
                  Worked alright from there

Will show Kent what a backcut is when next we meet....

Facing the same problem Kent. Bumping-bumping all the way until it speeds over 60-70klm. Above this klm it flies above water and you are in danger of flipping !!!

Hehe yep it's a bumpy ride until your up in speed. Your always in danger of flipping, I guess the faster you go the worse. Still have to play with COG and definetly the right props. Your situation is different as your motors are 2200kv, you have a lot more motor speed than me. Maybe you need weight to get the hull more stable. I will still try the 4518/3 and see how I go. If no better then maybe have to address other areas.

I also would like to try a set of 3-blade props but not sure which ones. Any ideas?

Well I have just mounted the 4518/3 propshop, if I can keep everything cool and boat in the water should be good.

Are your stingers parallel to the ride pads ? ... or still angled down ?
Center line of the prop shaft should be parallel to ride pads, and approx 6-8mm above that line
It is the finer details that make these really perform well.
removing low rpm load from the prop will create better launch.. a back cut can help there
will post a pic when I find it !

back cut is when some the trailing edge close the hub is removed to reduce load.

Wondering when I was going to see those new props go.Should have mine this week. Then I'll try them on the Shocker.I should ask Tiqueman for a little advice as I know he runs those props.
