For now this build is enough, and I need to get it going the way it should. Maybe even sell to get something bigger. The money tree has lost all its leaf's
You said <quote> he said .. These will need to be cast, finished, balanced etc </quote>
I read they send them unfinished/unbalanced..
Perhaps if he said 'These will need to be cast, finished, balanced etc before sending ' haha

Hehe, my head is spinning, I suppose if they left out the word cast, then one would assume they need treatment. But since they said cast which is what the do all day, I believe they are doing all the work. Of cause time will tell if we have to do any work after. You may still be right Doc?

Ordered some L&R 4518/2 SS from propshop anyone got any experience? Thought it might be a good all round prop.
Been so busy lately, wanna get the boat back in the lake. No good sitting on the table

What!! It doesn't have it's own shelf or spot? My 1717 is on the way.I've got all year to decide on the hull, but I really like the scale look of the MHZ.

How much room is in the sponsons for batteries Kent.I'm just contemplating ESC's,Ice HV 200 or Ice 240's.The 1717's may only see 7s but if I wanted in the future to try a 10s setup a boat this size would be good for it.

BTW:a little birdie told me New 1717's are coming,$225 a pop I believe I was told. But it would be nice to have a parts option.

Shawn, plenty of room for batteries. You could fit 12s 3000 per side if you had to. 8s 4000 is more like it though. ( I will do that later on)
Little birdie told me I have x2 brand new Lehner 2250 Hiamp LK in the mail, so no new 1717's fo me. Now those will be used when I have had plenty of fun with the 1717's I currently have. But I had to have them. And of cause to tease the "Doc"

So does that mean new ESC's at that point?

Nope, keeping what I got...don't see why they wouldnt work. I tried them on my 2280's and worked great so should be ok. I'm gonna say for the 100th time.....not spending any more on this LOL

You'll hear boo if you email them. Damn your right. NO serious I wanted the motors from the beginning. But it took me a few purchases to realize so it got expensive in the end. NO MORE. Maybe props.......LOL or batteries but that's ok. It's like tires and fuel. Gotta have it
