    Hey Nata, so those are 45mm &1.8 pitch? I've got 45mm & 48mm 1.4 and 1.6. Mine are 7076 aluminum.

Yep 1.8 in steel. I use to think the Cnc alu were great but too many people say the bend at high speed.

Well, curiousity got to me and I went to see just how much those "not cheap"props are. And,well, they aren't that bad.FC's are $42 for aluminum 50mm 1.8's and whatever for shipping,$$$.
So now I've got some 2 blade 1.8's coming.I paid that for my 450 3 blades. And it says they are balanced,we'll see.

Just comparing to octura LOL I have paid $40 for alu props before. Total was like $117 aus shipped to Australia for 2 props. Genesis from hobby king is like $200 so $100 bucks for props in my mind is not that cheap. Stats that all props are sharpened and balanced, let's see. But they are steel so if I polish them should look chrome. Yeah!

I have ordered from UK a pair of 447/3 and a pair of 445/3. Because they dont stock the 445/3R they offered to cut down 447 to 445. The bad thing is that I have to wait 10 days for this cut down. Great service though.

By the way, have you ever ran your 1717's on 8s? From prop calculation with the 4518/3 and 8s (if it can all handle the stress) should hit 100mph +. Now that would be something....

Kent. Ive a LR pair of 5518/3 propshop here.
Ypur 114 not practical as 8s a side, where to put 4s2p? . Ive seen the 1717 push a 1457/2 hydro very
well. Keep increasing props till stuff gets Warmish. 11 min on x447 can mean much faster on bigger props, m8. The trick is to find
The right one for this setup.

Could run x2 4s 6800, as one 8s 6800 and power both no? if good quality battery shouldnt be a problem?

Ran my 1717 today.I have it in a DF 35".With a X646 it put out 5200 watts on 6s2p.WOW. On another note, twins sure help each other out.I've got plenty of room for prop in the Shocker.

Just thought you might like the numbers.
