      It's a really good job.
I think that this boat can catch the 80mph easily !!!
      That's my sense.

Looks like Larry has about $75 to spend on tougher stingers. Ekos parts not hacking it. That thing scoots!! Nice build.

Im currently working on converting my EKOS stingers to 3/16. Still going to run the .078 wire drives. I also bought a replacement 3 blade prop for Eric. Ill be using these again in a bigger pond soon to see if I can hit 80mph-in a 4s powered cat. The reason I lost a prop in the last video is the Locktite let go that holds the wire in the stub shaft. We have since bought new Locktite, only realizing after the fact that it does indeed have an expiration date.
Thank you all for the compliments.Makes me want to go faster yet.
Another thing, please dont post any GPS spectulations-I just go by my GPS for my speed report. I dont care how accurate it is or not. Its what I go by for my personal use and reference.

Drill a hole in the stub and then put a flat spot on the wire then loctite it in and set your drive dog set screw down on the wire flat. I make these for super power and never have had one come apart.

Was that mine that let go or your own since you mentioned loctite date.

...sounds hard but I have it down and works great.

It was your stub that you made me a while back for .062 wire, but I had drilled it out to accept .078 wire. So,you did not make this last one for me.It was my doing. I just got done converting one stinger to 3/16.Ill finish the other tomorrow. That sounds like a good idea,Jeff. I might do that before I get both stingers completely assembled. Thanks for the tip.

Ive never actually timed it. Running 4s with the 442's, I would guess about 5-6 minutes. With these props,I usually run it untill LVC or right near it.

I ran the boat today with the ABC props. Heated my Turnigy 4000mah 30-40c packs a bit and ran 79mph. These are older packs with quit a few cycles on them. This run lasted maybe 2 minutes.I didnt time the run. Next,I ran 4 of Johnsons 2s 5000mah 40-50c packs that have been in the warmer for a good while. I ran 81.4mph. I still havent bought a battery for my temp gun yet,so I dont know the temp of the batteries, but I know they werent 100 degrees. This run was just over a minute. I also cant give temps on the components, but I could stand there all day with my finger on the shaft of the Arc motors and the SeaKing 120's. I dont see why more FE boaters dont use Arc motors-they are extremely tough and put out awesome power. They dont make 40mm motors, only 380 and 540 size. They also make a 20mm.Id like to find some detailed specs on the Arcs, but cant find any.www.lightflightrc.com only gives a small amount and thats only on certain motors.Im going to do some prop work to the ABC's and heat the batteries up more next time. Im very confident I can easily hit 85mph....on 4s.

81mph on the one day I didn't have the camera in my toolbox.

Sure was moving, and no props were lost.

                              Im jealous.
