Got my Hyperions from sailr today. Here's a final pic before she gets wet. She's got more copper in her then the Statue of Liberty. All I need is a little BeCu hanging off the transom and the pond to soften up and she'll be ready to go.

Squeezing all that stuff in the tight confines of the Seaducer was a real chore so I'm going for something a little roomier with my next project.

I think you need some more wires in there.

As a matter of fact Chuck, I originally took the pic to post on Kent's Rico thread in response to his comment on not liking allot of wires. I should get 50 points a race just for hooking up the wires correctly.

I would love nothing better than to send the boat down to Atlanta to have you dial her in Doug. But I'm too cheap to ship her back and forth.

CG is right at 28% as pictured.

Time to see if I can squeeze a 1521 and 4s2p in a JAE-NB Edition

Actually, I meant that I just would like to hide the wires as much as I could on my build....that's all........

I know what you meant bro. Just like the false floor you and Doug did on the JAE. You getting serious on me??

                I'm Italian, I like spaghetti!!!

BTW- I don't remember if I told you or not. Remember I had the range issue with the 3PM Fasst? I sent the TX to Radio South, a place that repairs RC Radios. They took a look at it and said transmitter power was low and that the replacement antenna I installed was good. I asked why the TX would work fine and then crap out after I replaced the antenna. He said that he hasnt seen it in Futabas, but with Spektrums, if the radio is turned on without the antenna it could blow a componant on the board. Also the only replaceable part Futaba has to fix it is an entire new board for $120 (without labor). Great news considering I can get a used 3pm Fasst in good shape with reciever for about $100 on Flea Bay. Oh well, lesson learned.

lol!...a few more wires in there and I would expect to see some meatballs floating around in there! He, He!......

Doh! That sucks bro! Well at least you had time to get it fixed without the season getting underway. Always something!

I can't wait to run these mono's...this is gonna be a blast!

When the queenstown pond thaws, we gotta get some time in on these...at least I know I do...lol!

The boat came wit a piece of 1/16" Lexan that sits in the lower lip of the hatch opening. It was a little too flimsy for my liking so I replaced it with some 1/8" smoke Lexan. It' will be a bit of a PITA to tape with the multi levels and curves. But I dont think it will be much harder than my sons old Mean Machine.

Here are a few pics of the lid on Andym and Doug Smock's 'ducer. On the Trapshooter, it doesent look like there is a lip that runs down the length of the opening to support the lid. Dont know if it's the photo or Doug used black tape but as you can see on post #61 there is a lip mine. BTW- If you tell Jerry it's for an electric boat when you order, he may build you one in glass. Get the CF!!

thanks. i was thinking of building a lip higher up so that the plexi sith flush with the deck or if necessary making a fiberglass hatch (flat) to match the contour.. thanks they are both running expensive esc's so this method must work..

It would be nice if somebody would make a hatch for the seaducer. I always liked the hull.
