That is true! Like u said anything can happen. That would be cool if they had an unlimited capacity division for each class and just made sure no one was within a certain distance of the pond except for the driver and other essential people.

Another thing is you could get in the T class and put your batteries in series and esc's in series! I do that all the time with brushed esc's but have not tried it with brushless.Last edited by Jacked1; 10-26-2010, 05:53 PM.Fleet: 55" Quad inline T600 Cigarette boat, Twin Mean Machine, Twin T600 47" mystery mono, 4082 Surge Crusher, 1717 8s Genesis, 4074 Villain, "mini mono", 52" Bonzi, Prather Funcruiser, 2 DPI 3.5cc tunnels, 5' Styrofoam recover bargeComment

They do the safety stuff any way. There will never be a total Unlimited class it would have to be purposed with limit's. And there is a lot of people that want less classes and not any new classes on the NAMBA rules committee.Comment

Thinking of selling the boat if anyone is intrested send me a pm. Will sacrifice my labor for cost of the build plus xtra's left over. I would be intrested in keeping all of my electrics accept my motors that have only 6 passes on them. I am wanting to build a a simulare boat, maybee bigger."Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... Truelly would be a great boat , but it would take up to much realestate for me and $$$$. I would build it a bit diffrent to. It would have 4 smaller motors also"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."

......and durring the drive swich over there will be a servo pulling the sponson drives out of the water ......
.........also by parelleling 2 50c 5000mah 6s packs to 4 speed controlles and while only running 2 motors at a time , what ever s 2 esc's in use will benifit from the idle esc's capaciters.........
.................I have a new awakening now................have my eye on a record...........competition beware !..........the quad is coming back..............in the future..........dont know when............but its coming...........................take good care of my power cord.................good times baby !..........................lol

No worries here ! I just had a new idea Randy. I will be doing some mods to my sponson struts and will be swaping out my center motors for a much higher KV and will only be runing 2 motors at a time, that way my motors will run right............ The plan is to run the monsters in the sponsons untill the boat gets up to speed and then hit a swich that will turn off the 1515 1y's and turn on a pair of 1518 1D's............and durring the drive swich over there will be a servo pulling the sponson drives out of the water ......

Turning the page !
Looks like I am turning the page on the Conquest ! I will be retrofitting it to run on twin 1717's for a new owner ! We will start by taking out all motor mounts and grind out all epoxy..Then I will make a speacial twin CF motor mount moved forward 1-2'' and re-do center stuffing tubes for .187 cable with liner.....................
I feel the twin 1717 is a great choice for sport boat application and really look forward to building this 6s 4p setup...Her are a few pics of my thrust diff wirering scheme( lol ) using no Y harnesses, couple cap cooler pics, and my linkage seal......
I will continue this build hear and will update as time allows...Thank you"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."
