I am finding more fun and excitement in my FE boating than ever before. I have found some great friends in the model boating world to top it all off.

Jan, yes I have been using some of the things learned with Mr Krabs to help get this thing moving. I started with an M545 prop because it was the fastest prop I ran on Mr Krabs. It is a lot faster on the BBY rigger than it was on Mr Krabs.
Sweet! Glad to see the repair done and the boat back together. It is way too cold hear to run for a while. Thanks for the up date.

The rigger was tested again this morning. Speed was increased to 114 kph or 70.84 mph. I was getting it to track straight today as on all the other tests it would peel off a little to the right. I have it running in a straight line now. The repairs are still holding up on the sponson and the radio seems to have good range. Time to squeeze the trigger a little harder I think.

Keep your rudder stright and bend the strut arm to the left to tune the boat stright.

Done that Randy. I had to use a 24 inch shifter to bend it. What did you make that strut out of? It is strong

The strut is Stainless Steel, Silver Brazed. That is what I feel we need something real strong. glad you like it.

I have not ordered them yet Randy. Going to get Christmas out of the road before I start spending too much.

                        75.81 mph or 122 kph
Well guys another step on the way to 100 mph. I messed the return run up on the video and if I had kept it planted it would have hit the bank. The first run was 119 kph and the next one 120 kph and as you can see the third was 122 kph. One thing I am learning is that these things take some room to slow down.
Sorry there are not more videos and taken from a better position but I am a one man show most days.

                        The 122 kph run

Me with some comments after the runs

You need a bigger pond. More ramp up and cool down. You are not on the throttle but a second or so.

Yes you are correct Randy. I am searching for a bigger more secluded one that gets little wind. My 47 mm props have been ordered and I think once I go to using them it is time to kiss this pond goodbye.
Randy thanks a 1,000 times for this boat. This boat is a real credit to you. It is hard to express how good this boat makes me feel without sounding like a kid. Maybe one small Yee haaaaaaa

I agree with Randy, a bigger pond would take you to close to 85mph maybe more.
When I saw the video, at first I thought you were going back to try another run for some reason, but it was just a teaser run, LOL. Is there a longer pond somewhere you can stretch her lelgs? Nonetheless Paddy, I am really glad you are happy.

That is too cool! That is part of the reason it took so long the only big pond I like to run a boat like this at is in LA. Gotta go get Gelcoat.
