    126 kph or 78.29 mph

I tried a 2047 prop this morning. As you can see it was another new record for this boat and I think more speed to come on the same prop. My lake is small and from listening to the motor it was taking a while to wind up in speed and appeared to be still getting faster when I had to lift the finger off the throttle. Time for a bigger pond I think. Not far from 80 mph now.
Thanks again to Randy for the boat that is still as it came out of the box and Andy for his magic props.

WoW!! How was she acting? If anything like my rigger with similar sponsons, it ran flawless like it could handle plenty more speed..

Bill it runs like it is on rails but just touching the water ever so lightly on the sponsons. I have had a few riggers (3 H&M and a Dumas Hawk) and this is the best I have had by a long shot. Randy is on to something good with this design.
I had never driven past 70 mph before but at 78 mph I have no fear in pulling the trigger all the way. This boat drives so well it gives me the confidence to go faster without worrying what will happen next.
No this is not an advertisement for BBY, just the truth.

Andy I am not sure why but all your props work better backwards.
Maybe you are trying to tell me the sponsons should be at the front of the boat when it is out on the water.

                    Well done Paddy.

                    Now down to possibles.
If you can find a nice piece of flat sheltered and safe water can you see up to 100mph out of this hull. ?

I ask as it may be time for some of us to assist in finding a piece of water for you. If that means and airfare then a fund raising thread will be started.
You have the boat, power, knowledege and passion to make it happen.
If you need a hand then say so and I am sure there will be a hand given.

Big ups to AndyM for his wicked props !! I know what they are like too....but not at your speeds.

                    GO PADDY !!
                    See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

Wooooow!!!!! You really get much luck to get so perfect boat from Randy!!! I even envy you now.

Nothing can beat it if you install Maytech cooling inrunners and ESCs (Maytech HV ESCs)

I'm sure it will go far better! Looking forward to a video of your following run,

                      John

No offense Icareu ( Stone? is that really your name) but Maytech gear is not what I would consider a wise investment for this type of caper. Neu motors and Schultz or YGE esc's would be the preferred weapons of choice. Unfortunately the cheap Chinese gear is still a ways off the quality required

Just my 2c... Lose the antennae tube and stick the GPS inside the canopy. Those two little things cause drag, not much, but enough...
                                Great boat and admirable determination!
