    38 inch BBY Rigger

While this is not exactly a build as such, as Randy has done most of that, it is up to me to build some speed into his creation. I believe Randy has taken care of quite a lot of that process too with his brilliant design.

    First impression
When opening the box I could not help but notice how carefully everything had been packed. It had survived the trip from California to Tasmania without a scratch. Once out of the box I could not help but notice Randys great workmanship and paint job. Randy had interpreted my idea of how the finished paint job should look perfectly. Great job Randy!!! On examination of the work he done inside the boat what could I say except brilliant. It is very strong from stem to stern.

    Assembly

Randy had made that job very easy by directions written on masking tape where it was needed. I soon had the sponsons and rudder on.

I have to agree with you Dom. I hope to retire this boat unscathed.

I am glad to see that it was up to par Paddy, I saw it at the Legg lake SAW event but chose not to handle it... I can never tell when an accident is going to happen and specially with friends stuff.
          Waiting for the videos anxiously!

Jan you should have touched it at least. They tell me that just your touch is worth 5 mph to any boat . I think it was PC that called you the hydro guru.

I love his hardware. Can we get a little better shot of the mounting brackets?

Paddy, that is one hell of a boat you have there, it looks fast.
Narrow and aerodynamically neutral, shold be a real rocket.
Get some of your power in there and one of Andy's finest wheels and you will have a feather killer for sure.

Well done to get one one of these from Randy, now send me the XS3
                      See it....find the photos.....sketch it it....build it........with wood

The servo is in and connected to the rudder. Working fine.

Somebody asked for better pictures of the rudder and strut brackets. You can see Randy has used thick aluminum to make sure these take the pounding they might get at 100 mph (if I am lucky).
