Ok started working on the mounts, I inspired the style of the two face project. But I may just do 2 more mounts and try something else.
Still need finishing and some sanding. But since I feel am getting sick, I will stop for today.

      Hey Elvish,

      Sorry you're not well...
The mounts look great, or is that another CAD pic'?? If so, I love the coffee cup stain detail! Lol!!

What method are you using to cut the carbon? CNC????
As I said, it's looking great, keep up the good work.....

That'll be 'man flu' or girl flu???
So you're printing the CAD, sticking that onto the carbon and cutting it???
Very nice to make stuff rather than just buy it all and through it together...

          What glue will you use?

To be honest, it’s still on the girl side :P but I can’t afford to be sick this week, I have to close a big deal.
But I will probably finish the other today.

So you're printing the CAD, sticking that onto the carbon and cutting it???
Am printing the illustrator file, and gluing it with UHU (kids glue) easily removable with water.

            What glue will you use?
If you mean epoxy for the boat, I will use E45 with cotton flakes to regulate the hardness. And black carbon powder for the color.
What method are you using to cut the carbon? CNC????
no no no, hand, dremel for the big parts, and then grind tools

Ah! Ok... I did wonder what epoxy it was....
Hope you get that deal and feel better soon...

The HPR finally arrived, Hanspeter sent it 14 days ago in a very padded heavy duty box and it arrived without a scratch and faster than i thought.

Malibu, since you are new to the FE scene I'm going to suggest this:

If you are going with big heavy motors (and the 1521/1527 are) make sure to rest
the back end of the motors once they are installed on the motor mount as well... don't let the
motor mount be the only support these beasts have... on some of my earlier boats, I've had big motors hang by themselves and on the first flip motor and mount got thorn off the hull... pretty nasty, specially if it lands right side up and one throttles again with the motors laying around loose in there... it was ugly.

                          Disregard if mentioned already.
                          :::::::::::::::. It's NEVER fast enough! .:::::::::::::::

vvviivvv : im going to use Neu 1518-1.5d(2200kv) on 5S for racing and 4S for sport use.

KILLERDAVE : the bracket near the rear is a tunnel motor mount available from fastelectrics.com. Very easy to mount and supports the motor front and rear very well.

Just waiting for the motors to arrive so I can start building.

Ok, I did think it was but then I was thinking it might be a drilling jig...
So, are you not building this as a twin? or How are you planing to use that mount?
                              I'm probably being dumb here...?????
