          yes
the power is incredible, i wasnt able to push it...
motors were cold after 5 min run.
next week i will put a gps in to see what speed we get.

the hull is fiber glass, reinforced with carbon fiber. so no problem with the spektrum receiver.

is it the 'carbon' hull or the 'fiberglass' he sells?

i think i got that hull tbh.. i ordered a carbon kevlar but he told me he sent me a carbon 1 by accident, is there a way to test this?

if he told you carbon, then you got the carbon,
i ordered the fiber, and got the fiber.

The test: open lid, look inside, if whitish color you have glass, if all black you have carbon, if black and yellow weave you have carbon kevlar. All are glass underneath unless you paid more to get ALL carbon or carbon/Kevlar.
                Hope this helps.

Based on pics Ive seen of hulls that people claimed were glass... I thought HPR used black cloth? Therefore making it harder to tell if its glass or carbon at a quick glance?

Paint maybe? The carbon hull is still primarily glass, maybe that is what they meant?

                            ok,
                            this is how it is.
For the carbon fiber hull, he uses, 1 glass fiber cloth 2 carbon fiber cloths:
for the carbon kevlar, he uses, 1 glass fiber cloth, 1 kevla cloth, 1 carbon cloth
for the glass hull, he uses 3 glass fiber cloths.
the black color, is because he adds to the epoxi black pigment(i think its carbon fiber powder) which makes it black and therefore changes the color of the glassfiber.

So the question for you guys is this... HOW do you tell forsure what you have??? I guess you have to trust HansPeter???
I am sure you can get black glass cloth amoung other colours...
Can't you just ask what you have for HPR?

Getting back on track though... elvish, your '06 looks great, Did it blow over in the last picture?
Please get a buddy out there with a video???? and gps?????
How are you going to paint it?

                                thanks Dave,
yes in the last it blew over, no damage what so ever at a good speed, and it's the fiber hull.

                                DSC_0076.jpg
I had to trim the boat, and wasn't able in the end to really push it, no battery left.
the motors are insane in power, and I really think that 1521 is the obsolete motor for this hull.
the motors were pushed at 80 % of their power, and remained cold.
We need a bigger lake, and here in Paris, you need to fight with a lot of paperwork to get the necessary authorizations.
but next week I can assure you I will have a video, and hope to get a gps speed.
                                DSC_0090.jpg

as for the paint, i am not going to paint it, as i plan to sell it just after the gps tests.
i already started my next projet, a mystic 1,70meters long, powered by neu
hull made by me this time.
