Despite the source, the video is what it is, or do you think they hired actors to play the part of bigoted racist McCain supporters??

and to your comment about why blacks are supporting Obama, might we also extend that logic to say that McCain is getting the racist cracker vote or doesn't that knife cut both ways??

This debate reminds me of when I went to school in Glasgow, Scotland. I went to a protestant school and the other cast went to a catholic school...totally insane. Many pupils of each school were brought up hating the other and there were fights outside the school grounds on many a day. Parents were mostly to blame, as they indoctrinated their children to the perils of the other side. As in politics!!
We have to become our own masters.

Obama has fossilized , unified, and brought people together, there are voters coming out the wood works, Rwingers don't like that, they like to divide you on Religious ideology, Sex, Class, Race and Sexual orientation... They always bring God in it... But the Lwingers know our problems supersedes all the before mentioned.

Sure he is... Obviously... but I'll bet that percentage is a lot less, and is certainly a lot less than the total "white" vote that is being split between McCain and Obama... You certainly aren't getting 98% of the "white" vote for McCain, are we??

And I didn't say those were actors... I said the video was slanted to portray a certain type of voter... They are obviously not just randomly chosen...

Funny... I haven't mentioned God at all that I can recall... It's NOT even part of my reasoning...

If you KNOW the problems that supersedes all else, then why are you supporting a candidate that wants to raise taxes on those entities that can bring us financially OUT of these problems, or wants to bring about 1.8 Trillion in new spending programs??? You think that's going to happen without raising taxes?? Oh, that's right, it's only going to be for the OTHER guy...

              Let the chain reaction begin...

I just voted and there wasn't any line because there isn't any public transportation in my district - I also left work a bit early to beat the after work crowd.

Sure... but you can't just make generalizations about the "whole" and think they'll just slide... especially when they likely aren't applicable to the majority...

Well, Darin to answer your Question I first voted in 1988, an in the 20 years that have past 2 Republican Presidents have destroyed this country and the happened to be Father and Son, the father and his other son Neil Bush with his S&L scandal (Real Estate) And Now this Son with the government, no better yet the world in total economical collapse, it seems every time it gets bigger and better with these guys(Sorry Jeb Bush your brother ruined it for you).

However in between both offending parties there were a utopia called President Clinton... where my cash flow was running like the Mississippi River breaching it's banks. We are always gonna pay taxes, I don't have a problem with paying taxes, But I do have a problem with how MY money I work for is spent.

But this shows exactly where you appear to be out of touch.... Clinton was a "middle-right" President... much like John McCain is...

Also, this economic situation we are in right now is largely due to the mortage industry crisis, and that can clearly and almost completely be attributed to policies put in place by Jimmy Carter, perpetuated by Bill Clinton (He admitted this on ABC news...), and sent through to final fruition by the Democrats in Congress and the Senate in 2005/6...

All this time, the GOP warned and tried to put forth legislation to correct the problem, each time stopped by the Democrats...

WHERE are those "Republican's" that are responsible?? WHY are there not hearings, and committees investigating the situation and bringing those at fault to justice?? If there WERE Republican's that they could stick this to, don't you think they would have by now???

But of course, they aren't going to bring any charges against Barney Frank, or Pelosi, or Sam Reed, or Reigns... They're Dems... and the Dems control the "investigation" of this stuff right now...

We are always gonna pay taxes, I don't have a problem with paying taxes, But I do have a problem with how MY money I work for is spent.

Well, you must not have too much trouble with it because you are voting for someone who is going to spend it ALL over the place... I'm willing to bet that you definately aren't going to agree with where much of it gets spent...

Meanwhile, McCain is promising to cut spending, and he actually has a track record of DOING IT!

You can't say that about Obama... He's promised to spend, and has a track record, albiet slight, showing that's just what he'll do...

Darin that is rubbish. The crisis is due to some very silly idiots in the banking industry and equity markets who said you want cash, bring your wheelbarrow round the back...you are not working..not a problem

Douggie, you need to do more research... You aren't correct here. This has all been previously hashed out in this thread above somewhere...

The Democrats decided to play affirmative action with the mortgage system, and, with the help of groups like Acorn, etc., "regulated" (forced) banks to provide stupid amounts of money in bad loans that they KNEW people wouldn't be able to pay back... "Community Reinvestment Act" in google would be a good place to start...
