So it's not $100,000 but $150,000? And again, can anyone cite the actual source beyond what they think they believe they heard??
Here's one that makes it clear what the remark meant:
What he was saying is that from $150,000 and down you will actually get money back, a true "cut". Those from $150,000 to $250,000 will stay the same, under both plans I might add. And over $250,000 they will pay more. Nothing inconsistent here at all, but the RW has jumped all over it because they prefer to use out of context remarks to bolster their opinions.
Now of course the response will be "I don't buy it". And again, that is fine, it is total fantasy and a denial of the truth, but people are free to think as they choose to think.Don't get me startedComment

Oh, and by the way... those of you on the Left who keep putting down any information found on Fox News... They were one of the ONLY major news outlets who were rated EXACTLY EVEN and BALANCED on their coverage of this campaign... DEAD EVEN...
They are one of the only "Fair and Balanced" news sources out there... according to recent ratings...Samuel Johnson - “An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere.” William Cooper "listen to everything, read everything, and believe nothing unless you can prove it in your own research!"Comment

The idea that Fox news is "fair and balanced" fails on every level. Here's a for instance. On the day Ted Stevens was convicted of 7 felony counts of fraud they did not even report it. Very fair. Very balanced. They did not touch the story until the next day. Most of the post conviction coverage has centered minimizing it. Now imagine if Steven's were a Democrat. I am sure that the coverage would be the same.
Owned by Rupert Murdoch, run by Roger Ailes, staffed by Chris Wallace, Brit Hume, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Karl Rove, and so on. Oh, and Alan Colmes!! Very balanced.
What is so truly amazing is that their viewers actually believe this!!
It must be true, they say it often enough.Don't get me startedComment

As for FOX news... Sorry... They are not my statistics... or Foxes... It was reported locally in print as well as on TV...
Again... it's just the Left trying to mask themselves as being the saviours for everyone... surely THEY know what is "correct" for America, and the rest of us, who don't agree with them, are bafoons...
But you are buying into exactly what the Left wants you to buy into... Because Fox, and a few other channels, are opposing opinions and question in ways that make you "uncomfortable"... so they must be evil... they must be silenced... RIGHT?? Don't worry... If the Dems get their way... They will be (Fairness Doctrine)...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

An International viewpoint. America was a beacon of democracy until about 1960. Since then we have seen the status of this great country become mired in issues that have dragged it down. Vietnam not winnable..the French said good luck. Iraq version 1 and 2 a littany of lies and deception. Afganhistan...the Russians said good luck. After the horror of 9/11 a country that is very scared and adopts draconian measures on their citizens. Let us hope that whoever is elected will make the USA a country that is once more admired and not looked at with disdain.

My buddies driving by a polling station in Maine, a big crowd was waving Obama signs and chanting "Obama". He stops his car, drops the window and says "I can't afford to stand around waving a sign, I have to work in order to pay my own bills!". lol
By the way neither he or I make remotely close to the so called Obama $120k or whatever it is a year tax rate increase. We just totally disagree with the government giving out checks to people that don't pay into the system in the first place.Steven Vaccaro

Steven, this story has been around for weeks now. Yes, many on the right have "buddies" who saw Obama supporters standing around because we all know that all Obama supporters are lazy out of work bums who are waiting to take your money and live on the public dole.
You honestly believe that???
For the record, I am not lazy nor a bum and I WILL pay more taxes under Obama's plan, and some of that money will go to you. Odd, I don't think less of you for that.
Ironic isn't it?? You do not support him and will benefit from his tax plan. I will be hurt by his tax plan and have money taken from me to give to you and yet I support him. Why? Because this is not about me. It is about this country and sometimes the needs of the few (top 5% of wage earners) are out weighed by the needs of the many.Don't get me startedComment
