We here in Washington State often get chastised for passing referendums that the Dem's don't think we voters understand what we are voting for and then they in the legislature amend.
So do you think this person really understands who she is voting for?

Take the religious aspect out of these comments, as we will be here all night discussing the pros and cons of one persons God and beliefs.

At least these people have a clear idea why they are voting as they are:

I would hate to take you guys out on a millitary mission as a leader. 35% say he is a D...32% he is an R. I would take the undecided as the guys I would want to lead.

Please don't post a Michael Moore video next... guns are bad and it's the GOP's fault..... yes... we get it...
I think it's clear there are some nut-jobs on both sides... but let's be honest here... 98% of the Black Vote isn't going to Obama because of his "Ideas"... nor because they have looked at the issues and made a conscience decision as to which direction they want to take the country... So this is just one example of how plenty of people are voting one way or the other based on something OTHER than a grounded logic and understanding of the real issues or what is best for the country...
I'm guessing if I was making a video to try to make Obama's voters look bad, it wouldn't be too hard to single out enough people to put together 1-minute of YouTube footage...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

Darin, be careful with a statement like that in these new times, this is not the South in the 50's. There are a lot of well educated people of many races, who are very capable of making up their own minds. 98%???

Problem is seems like a vast majority of voters from probably both sides make up their minds by listening to sound bytes and talking points"Our society strives to avoid any possibility of offending anyone except God.

Yes... the percentage has been reported to be 97 or 98% of Black Voters are voting for Obama...
If you look at the popular vote amongst the rest of the population, that value is INCREDIBLY scewed, and can only be explained in a couple of ways...
How would any of you explain it???Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA

Northcom has announced that two more U.S. military units will be assigned for domestic homeland security missions, bringing the total number of combat ready service members operating inside the U.S. to around 4,700, as fears grow about the increasing militarization of law enforcement. George Bush "The constitution is a god darn piece of paper"... and John McCain responded "thats why I vote with him 90% of the time" the Bush administration is ignoring the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 that prohibits the use of the military for law enforcement activities.Samuel Johnson - “An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere.” William Cooper "listen to everything, read everything, and believe nothing unless you can prove it in your own research!"Comment

Think of it this way... How much of what's going on in the US today is being blamed on George Bush?? "The ONE" is constantly blaming everything on GB...
In practical terms... the new President is going to have the opportunity to appoint at least 2 Supreme Court Justices. That in and of itself can make a large difference on the determination of legality for many things... This stuff shapes our society...
In addition, the President gets to appoint all kinds of cabinent positions, etc., and they generally direct the policies of the Nation...
Further, if we get "The ONE" up there, and he has a Democratic majority in the House and Senate, AND gets to appoint 2, maybe 3 Supreme Court Justices... He'll be the most powerful President in the history of this country.
You guys feared 'King George', as many liked to call him... Wait until the Mesiah reigns, with his "spread the wealth" agenda and desire to silence his critics... with his "need" to form a "Civilian National Security Force", with his radical relationships and economy crushing fiscal policies and plans... With his pandering to the 47million low-income voters at the expense of the rest of the 253million who actually pay taxes...
Fun times could be just around the corner...Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
