    Scott,

Have you had any advancement of the smaller sizes and do you have any idea what KV they will be?

    Thanks!

You are delusional if you think much is made in America anymore! Americans want everything CHEAP. The products are designed here and chinese factories are contracted to produce them. There is very little in this country anymore that isn't made overseas. The unions wiped out our industries by their demands for higher and higher pay and better and better pensions and health benefits. The manufacturers just couldn't afford American employees anymore. Sad by true.

By the way, this motor was usa born and bred. All prototyping and testing was done here. When it came time to go to production, it went to a chinese factory. Their motors are excellent!

I guess Scott could make them here but the price would double at least and then nobody would buy them. What would that solve?

I have a little more info on the motor.

This Large Water Jacketed Outrunner was designed for big boats 40-90". It will perform well as a drop in HP replacement for the Weed Eater type gas boats. Designed as a racing motor to run against the gas and will be competing in the racing scene beginning 2010. Testing so far in a 40+ Race hydro we are running 65-68 MPH and completing 7+ laps on 10s. This is very exciting for a low cost alternative motor to be running with the $600 Modified gas motors and the Large Neu inrunners. Testing continues and I will update soon!

These pictures are from the 55" Deep Vee I am doing a conversion on. I started with a new hull (Snagged from the LHS for $50 new in the box) and then bought all new Proboat hardware, I am waiting on an ESC and then I will finish this project. I am very excited to see this thing scream across the lake with the new power system.

My plan is to keep this thread alive for all of us who have spent money. Still no publicly available specs? Randy please get that proboat back in the water. It will be a few weeks still before my circus is ready. Does anyone know real world what prop will put a 120 amp draw on this motor. Are we leaning toward an x6 series prop in the 55 to 60mm range? If I were to scrap all the other things I got going on for now in the circus and put it the water to test; I dont have a data logger or an ampmeter to test with. Some one letting me borrow a datalogger or amp meter that will measure at least 150 I might be so persuaded.

                Scott,
You sent the tracking number but they have no record and the motor has never been received. It must still be in the back seat of your car!

If you'll read Scott's previous post, it's a deal between he and I...trade for a boat I sent him.
I have no intention of buying one at this point.

On the website 12s @ 107 amps 4500 watts 25890rpm 10s@88amps 3200 watts at 22800. but the screamer can take up to 18slipo @ 10,000watts. I think it can swing a prop bigger than a 460 but u need a 300 amp continuous esc or it will clip.Im really anxious to run mine.
