Actually I may sneak out by 1130 or so. Id like to watch the Worlds Offshore race from Key West on Livestream. I watched the Clearwater race and it was fantastic coverage. Theres some vids up now of the pre-racing over the last couple days but the sound has been horrible. hopefully they sort that out for Sunday.

Cool. I'll be bringing the Falcon to get a little run time on Dave's "Beast" motor at the 8s level. Probably bring my Sprintcat too so I can see if propping down a bit helps with the runtime on it as well.
I'll have flyers for our upcoming swap meet in case anybody wants them for posting in your areas, too.

Larry, from what I can find I think that motor is a D wind. I backed the timing off to 1 degree.... time will tell

We may need to start thinking about picking up another trolling motor too. The last trip I made out with it today it was making some pretty funky sounds.

I'll ask this again too. What kind of run schedule do we ant on the website for the rest of Nov & for Dec? Both 4th Sunday runs are very close to holidays.

To play it safe, it might be a good idea to bring the other trolling motor along to the swap meet, just in case. The flyer does show open water running from 12:30 - 2:00 (if we have weather fit for it). I'm hoping for better conditions than when we did the one in February.

Yeah me too. Ill bring it along. We should probably test it out and run it anyway. Its the one I picked up from Jeff that he had repaired for us way back when... I think Jim was still involved at the time to show how long its been

Kong seems to know about them a bit, perhaps he would be kind enough to bring some tools and pop it open one day and see if the contacts are good like he was discussing yesterday.
