hey guys andy fron the brandon club is planning a late summer race next year over on jims boat dock....he wanted to know if there is any interest from you sarasota guys and what classses.....i said p mono lsh lso q offshore and fe skiffs (between me and reed eagle and john bullus we have 5 of em) what other classes would u guys want?

also whats everyone building this winter? i am about 3/4 done with a 28 inch shovel nose.....i find the more boats i build the better i get lol at it.....

I'd be good for P & Q. Maybe LSH if another boat is needed to make a class. If they have an open class like Riverview did with the gassers I could get in on that too.
Right now I'm not building anything this winter. I need to thin out some of what I have to make room for anything else.

Looks like we may have a decent Sunday this weekend... if you don't mind 20 mph winds from the east.
Who's up for Ackerman.

yes they have a open fe class and i think open mono also......i know its a long way off but he need to know if there is any intereest from the fe guys....

Ron, I believe that specific race that he is planning is supposed to be monos only, unless he has since changed it. They are working on a possible 4 race series between the gulf coast club and the brandon club, as well as 2 possible tunnel races next year, one in early spring and one in late october.
If we get on board with these guys, there is the possibility of several fun races to do next year. I am not sure, but the Wave blasters may also be doing their race as well next spring.

Seeing I only run cats at the moment, I guess id be out.... but times change so who knows... maybe?

Winter builds.... For myself.... FC Lynx carbon cat, HPR Mystic, FC Super Daytona and recently finished my twin Cheetah other than that, a couple customer builds. May have a 72" Mystic coming from a return customer. Im dyin to build that one.

i am too broke to build anything big...still have the 47 in mono to finish but batteries are holding me back right now....hard to beleave i have a grand in that boat lol

Cool. I'll be bringing the Falcon to get a little run time on Dave's "Beast" motor at the 8s level. Probably bring my Sprintcat too so I can see if propping down a bit helps with the runtime on it as well.
I'll have flyers for our upcoming swap meet in case anybody wants them for posting in your areas, too.
