This boat will end up in Tanzania Africa. So far the boat has run 53 mph. It is running 3 yanmar 440 engines and is spinning 21" x 30" pitch props.

WOW... and to think my 21' Nautique spins a 13X13...

lol, just a bit different. What nautique do you have? We worked with them and built a couple of boats with yanmar diesel packages. As a matter of fact, we have one at the shop right now, that belongs to my boss. It is the 230 wake board boat, can't remember the exact model, and we put our 315 diesel in it with a 2 speed transmission in a v-drive configuration. The beauty of this set up is that even with the balast full, the boat still planes with no problem. Its nice to have almost 600 lbs of torque to play with.

Ive got a 97 Super Sport (V-drive) converted to Super Air. Basically a Team Edition boat as I have installed all the bells and whistles myself on it. Was A LOT cheaper that way.

Those 230s are nice My plan was to upgrade to an '05 Super Air Team last year but work, or lack there of, put the ax on that.

As you may know, our trolling motor from our retrieve boat burned up at our last meeting. Good news! Minn Kota will replace it under warranty!

Akerman is a long haul for most of us. We range from Lakeland, Land O' Lakes (north of Tampa), St. Pete area, Punta Gorda. It's not convenient to just 'run over to Akerman' unfortunately! You, being in Bradenton, could go there I believe now that you're a member. There is also another member in Bradenton but we haven't seen anything of him lately.

I will only be down on race weekends just because of being busy, and it being an hour drive. Hell I don't even run my boats except for the regular meets.
