Yeah I know what you mean. Years ago I used to ski on Lake Padgette. Then, Id say around 2001-2002ish, we trailered up there to find it was changed into a private lake. We stopped in dissapointment at that BBQ place.. cant think of the guys name.... Harrys maybe? Anyway, we were telling him our dilema and he said" what, no problem" and got us on the lake. Rest of the day was great! And lunch and dinner at the BBQ joint wasnt bad either....

Actually Lake Padget was always private...just not enforced. Now it is. The people that live in that subdivision pay an annual fee included in their property taxes to maintain the parks/lakes in there.

The place is Hungry Harry's. Owned by Harry Wright. He's a good guy.

We really enjoyed having you guys come race with us, we need to find a pond that we can use for one day races, so it's not an over nite stay for anyone ?
Maybe have 4 races a year?
How far is Melbourne for you guys, it's 1-2 hrs for us?

Any more thoughts on this. I still want all of us to get together. doesn't have to be a big race with trophies and all we can do just something like a pick up race. Looking at a map Kissimmee , ST. Cloud Area seems to be in the middle for most of us. any one know a spot out that way we can use?

Terry, Kissimmee would be good. Still a bit of a drive for some of our guys. I guess I need to get on google earth and snoop around. I agree it doesn't have to be trophies, etc. Maybe certificates. We need to see what Don Woolard can find over his way.

I'm not going to GA. Don't know about the others. Do you have an url for that race?

Bummer I wound up going to Ricky's house this evening after work for more testing. Finally dug the big heavy mono (gas) hull out of my closet and put it together last week. For a big, heavy, 10.5 lbs without batteries loaded up with good old HC / Turnigy electronics it runs pretty good.
