            Gentlemen,

It appears as if most of us are planning on 1/10th for the 2011 Nats. Do we need a hull register for the club to avoid duplicate boats? Maximum 2 boats in each division per member? I'm in for the 1988 U-31 Miller and 2010 U-37 Peters & May in Modern.

Probably a good idea Ray. Why don't you keep the list for us and post it each time a hull is added. Thanks.

Can you lay out the basic rules for the class for us here? Hull specs, power, batts, etc?

                  Ray,
Add my 1/10 scale to the list for the 2011 Nats. U-40 American Speedy Printing 1983.
All the rules are in the NAMBA rule book. Boats must be set up to turn left so I have to move turn fin to left side on mine. Allowable motors are HIMAX HB3630-1500, BLACKJACK A3630-1500 or AQUACRAFT 36/56 (commonly referred to as SV27). No modifications may be made to the motor. Except for normal wear, drive flats or keys, electrical connectors and water cooling, it must be run as shipped from the manufacturer. Power Limits: 10.1 to 15 Volts nominal, any chemistry. Maximum of 2 packs in parallel. Maximum total capacity shall be 10,000 mAh. There are two class specifications for Vintage and Modern see the rule book for the rest of the information.

It's OSE! Posts don't seem to go through. The site is very very slow. So I kill the send and then send again and then multiple posts show up! I'll delete the duplicates. I have informed Steven. He'll probably have to reboot the forum server. Happens about once a month.

I just posted this one, hit send once, and OSE said I had to wait to send another even though I didn't try to send another! Grrrr.

HighNDry, you're having a 1/10th built for you. What will it be? Modern or Vintage?

I have enough trouble turning right? Now gotta learn to turn left? Trouble man, trouble!

Hugh, what bout 1/8th scale, right or left turns?

                        Jim,
Looks like 1/8 scale turns right, nothing in the electric rules section about turning left the rules just refer you back to the Scale Unlimited Hydroplane rules in section 21. This is all that is in the electric rules for 1/8 scale.
                        ELECTRIC 1/8 SCALE UNLIMITED HYDROPLANE
                        i) General Rules
                        (a) Electric Scale Unlimited Hydroplane rules will follow the Scale Unlimited Hydroplane rules (see Section 21) with the exception of the following:
                        (b) Electric Scale Unlimited Hydroplane rules are intended as a supplement to the Electric general rules. In the case of a conflict with the Scale Unlimited Hydroplane rules (see Section 21), the Electric rules will prevail.
                        ii) Motor Specifications
                        (a) Power parameters for this class shall comply with class "T" specifications.
