As I previously announced, I cannot be at Akerman this weekend! Here we go again. Somebody else needs to get the retrieve boat!

REMINDER: Only ONE member (plus myself) has paid this years dues! Bank account is lookin pretty anemic!

If we are going to keep our club trailer, the registration renewal is $62!

We can sell the canoe but might want to keep the trailer just for times when I can't bring the retrieve boat on top of my car. Another member could put it in the trailer. Thoughts?

I was just getting ready to drop a reminder that this coming Sunday would be the 18th. Anybody planning to show up at Ackerman? Wish we'd thought about it last Saturday and I could have brought the boat home with me on the roof of my van. (don't know where I would have stored it, but...)

Who is up for postponing til the 25th? I know I am. We just ran a week ago at Archie's pond. We will try to get a regular every two weeks schedule made up so we'll know.

On a totally new subject, The waveblasters will be hosting the FE Nats at their lake next May! I had a long conversation with Ken Haines tonight. We need to concentrate on participating. I know the two years in a row that we went over there that we had a great time!

Hugh, you and I should get our 1/8 scalers ready for the Nats!

Here's a couple of pics of my 1/8 scale makes my Whiplash look small. Motor is a Neu 1527 1.5Y 850KV run on 10S1P.

Looks good Hugh. You'll have to bring that to Ackerman so I can take a peek at it when we have our next meet. I've got the same motor in the "purple monster" but was only running on 8s with a big prop.
Do you remember what your hull weighed before you started rigging it?

Randy at BBY could probably tell you the bare weight, he build this boat for the person I bought it from couple of years ago. This is a carbon fiber hull that he makes. Only trouble with bringing to Ackerman is I won't have any room left for my other boats in the back of my truck.
