            Terry,

There is no national registry that I know of, most Districts do register scale hulls to try and eliminate duplicate boats showing up to race. I just brought it up here to try and start that process.

            All the best,

            Ray

Should have some harware for mine start arriving this coming week. Decided to shelf the shovelnose for now though and go with a hull that I "know" is within scale specs. (and that I won't have to manufacture/mold parts for myself). Ordered the other hull yesterday and hoping it will show up next week as well.

Finally replaced my venerable old DF33 with a Rico. If anyone wants the hull I'll bring it to the next event..it is fugly with nothing left but bare hull and strut..has ~ 2 lbs of glass in the nose, but I think it made it run better. Let me know if interested before I donate it to Waste Management .
Boats don't win races, drivers do.

Very impressive Hugh, how many of those big boys ya think can fit onto our pond ? (safely)
Do those run counter clockwise also?
Ive never read the 1/8 scale rules.

The 1/8 scales run clockwise, I guess we will find out if they will fit next May.

Hopefully for the Nats, the course will be a expanded to the 1/6th mile format. It'll fit with room to spare.

Nope. Ken told me it will be the 1/8th mile.
