Things worked out in my favor today so I'll be there. I was hoping to have my new (to me) GPS today, but alas... no joy.

Larry, it has been a privilege and a pleasure to get to know you. Your knowledge of r/c boats is impressive and you always present a smiling face.

I never got around to listing it last night but all of yesterday's videos are linked in over on RC Groups. Think I spent more time piloting the rescue boat yesterday than my own. The winds made things "interesting".
PS to Ron. It's the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. The 2nd is designated as test n tune but some racing occurs (depending on turnout). The 4th Sunday is the official race day.Comment

Ray,
How did the Leopard run in your 1/8 scale? What esc did you use? Which KV is the 5692? How many cells? What prop?
I have the 5692 in my 1/8 also. It is the 1000KV motor. Planning on 8S, CC240HV, X450
Tried to tub test mine today and it won't fit in my bathtub! I have one of those oval shaped tubs. Gonna have to drop it in the lake I guess!Mini Cat Racing USA

The maiden run was just that, a maiden run. It was ok, but got a lot of port sponson lift. Gonna have to rearrange batteries. And definely need to design a sub hatch. Taping was way to painful.
5692/2Y 1090 KV, I maidenend on a h7 prop. Controller was a ICE160HV.
If your leopard is 1000kv it is the D wind motor.Comment
