Hey guys, sorry Ive been so quiet. Mom hadnt been doing well but is finally on the road towards recovery. Ive also had a lot of work going on and am in the process of launching my own buisness, getting my LLC, Incorporated etc, so yeah, its been a bit crazy. But, I actually got a chance to work on some boat stuff last evening for the first time in 6 weeks. I forgot what I had..... and what I was doing. Cant wait to come have some fun again. Hopefully all the demons are off the lake now since Bills equipment has kept them occupied.Comment

There were still some demons there this past Sunday Scott. Ray, Hugh and I all felt their wrath before the end of the day. I think they are waiting for you to make them a sacrifice.Comment

Scott. So glad to hear your Mom's doing better and congrats on the new business. Wish you the best of luck. Hope to see you soon.Mini Cat Racing USA

If I am there, I now have NAMBA membership application forms with me. Even if you don't join our club, it's a good idea to join NAMBA because they give you excellent insurance any time, any place you are running your boats so long as you are operating within the safety rules.
Hey guys, my name is Chris and I just moved to the Clearwater area. Was looking for a cool group to run my boats with or just an area to run them in general. It's cool that you started a FE group. Are you guys pretty serious or more of a bashing type club? I stopped by a group last place I lived and they were all gas guys and all gave me dirty looks when I ran my stock Proboat around. I'm just lookin for a place to run, maybe some company to run with.Mini Cat Racing USA

I'm getting closer to having the 1/8 scale ready to maiden. The thing scares me to death. Not sure exactly what it weighs but has to be at least 20 lbs loaded. Fired up the 5692 on 8S and jeeeez, that that thing's a beast! May have to add weight to the nose. Batts have to go in the back and best I can balance is about 2.5" behind the sponsons. We shall see!!
With luck I'll have the 1/10th scale modern there to test also.Mini Cat Racing USA

I went over there and left a post. Problem is just ONE class...open...doesn't make it worth sitting around all weekend and the 24th is our heat races at Akerman. Thanks for the heads up though.Last edited by sailr; 04-03-2011, 08:04 PM.Mini Cat Racing USA
